  2. Where are you hearing these stories.
  3. Shooter was a white male that quoted bible verses
  4. I like him to Iowa too. It felt like it was a good fit and I want to see the talent spread out. Penn State will have a hole at 149 after Shan Van Ness graduates(unlike every other PSU weight class). So there is lineup synergies with him going to PSU. My prediction is that he goes to PSU.
  5. The final straw was allegedly when the person who put up Bassett's NIL money said some things online disparaging an Iowa wrestler going through some mental health issues. Issues can affect families behind closed doors.
  6. I got no skin in this game, I don't like PSU hoarding talent. PSU always seemed like the best overall fit with his personality on/off the mat. More bible study type of stuff that you don't hear a lot at Iowa. He grew up a PSU fan too.
  7. Earlier this evening, Bo Bassett, the #3 overall recruit in the Class of 2026 announced via social media that he has decommitted from the University of Iowa. Bassett committed to Iowa in early February after a long process that saw him initially list about 80 schools on a graphic. Each week, he dropped a couple of schools from his list until he got a final group that included Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Rutgers, and Virginia Tech. Bassett later acknowledged that his final four included Iowa, Oklahoma State, Penn State, and Virginia Tech. Presumably, those other three have an inside track for his services. Since his commitment in February, Bassett won his second Pennsylvania AA state title and was third at the U20 US Open. A month later, Bassett went 1-2 at the Senior World Team Trials. He did post a win over 2024 NCAA runner-up Beau Bartlett. Bassett then went to the U20 Trials and advanced to the best-of-three finals, where he fell to Lehigh All-American Luke Stanich in three matches. Stanich was also the opponent who defeated him at the US Open. Not only does Iowa lose Bassett, but they are likely playing catch-up in the recruiting process for Bassett’s brother Melvin Miller, the top recruit in the Class of 2027. Younger brother Keegan is also a strong prospect in the Class of 2028. We’ll certainly have more about the developments in this portion of the Bassett recruiting saga.
  8. Does he start all over with 50+? I think Campbell would be a good fit. Sure, he will be happier, too, as he will get more NIL money when he transfers in, as opposed to committing as a Freshman.

  15. actually a pickup man
  16. My prediction is he joins Jax at Okie State.
  17. omg you are an idiot. not to mention.. obama did gaddafi as you spell it
  18. I was actually excited about him going to Iowa. I thought Blaze, Bo and Jax going to different schools was interesting and I thought it would make the PSU/Iowa rivalry better too.
  19. I'm only looking for positive updates from people in the know.
  20. Iowa never made sense tbh. OSU and PSU are the only ones with the firepower to snag him after he committed. PSU is my guess but he runs the risk of sitting behind Blaze and not being "the guy"
  21. but yeah they dont have or want nukes
  22. Fair point. If anything Ben would love the idea of one of us starting BenCoin in his honor if he does pass
  23. who said we want war?
