  1. Past hour
  2. worth noting Zepeda lost to Ninninger 6-3 on the backside but gave stanich his toughest match 8-8. Ninninger got teched by Bo in about 2 minutes. It seems like if you can withstand the pressure of Bo you are in the match there are just very few guys that can do that. If you cannot you are getting teched.
  3. showed the first chink in his armor that I've noticed. His feet seem a bit slow. Domestically Melvin may honestly be the only guy that can exploit that though I do not see Yianni or James green picking his ankles. I dont think there is anyone junior or senior that can go upper body or whizzer seat belt with him. Definitely surprising to see both Rodideau and Melvin push him a bit I still think he makes it to final x against Yianni though. I will say I think if he was pushing the issue melvin would have gotten hit for attention because he was clearing ties and circling as soon as he did not get that underhook to go cross pick.
  4. Or a future rapper.
  5. It's crazy that a D1 AA beating two high schoolers in a row is considered impressive. You have a good point regarding Bo using his physicality to overwhelm other high school kids. He's not a slick wrestler, seeming to prefer snap down-go behinds. That will be tougher to do at higher levels in both folk and free. Will he plateau or continue to develop? I wouldn't say that Chance is a good comparison, though, as his issues we more off the mat. His career would have been very different without all that, in my opinion.
  6. I dunno about "should have lost." Maybe in the Kolat "let's rescore the match in a back room after its over" era but not today. Coaches could've challenged it but didn't. Duke also wrestled defensively to sit on his lead, which wouldn't have happened had he not had a lead. Regardless, Miller pushed him. Not many guys can score on Duke.
  7. Interesting. I saw that as well. D3
  8. I saw a lot of people on social media act like they are surprised by this too. Stanich is a beast. He placed 5th in the country as a true freshman in 2024. Beat several AAs as a redshirt this year. Has two years in a D1 room. The fact that Bassett is even close to that level is impressive. Definitely not an upset
  9. Agree. Should have started as 1-0 Miller instead of 4-0 Duke. Step out preceded that 4-point throw.
  10. 5 point swing at the beginning. Pj stepped out before the throw would have been interesting if that was challenged.
  11. Great clash of styles at 70 KG. Melvin Miller is very quick and long and took most of the shots. Duke is sturdy and strong - didn't take many risks, but physically manhandled Miller. Wrestled smart and won.
  12. should have lost his finals match just now.
  13. That doesn't make sense. If there was an income return in previous year then there was income. Most of these athletes receive NIL for multiple years thus NIL in the previous year and thus need to file quarterly or some other tax collection method for the expected income else pay penalty and interest.
  14. Unseeded... really notable run by Luke. D3
  15. Good sportsmanship by Pierson Manville... he tried like hell to score! D3
  16. Today
  17. SIX ZIP WINNA!!!! Luke Stanich! WOOOHOOO!!! D3
  18. Luke holding center well... D3
  19. Manville had a good chance to score... but Luke maintain his balance. D3
  20. ANOTHER TD for Luke... (LUUUUUUKE.... the force is STRONG!) D3
  21. Luke Stanich gets the TD... leads 2-0. ANOTHER TD... 4-0 D3
  22. Why is every ref 100 lbs. overweight? Some can barely move around the mat.
  23. It was Lock Haven open... the DB doesn't show that he lost to Forrest, though that was count as a loss. D3
  24. Luke has great ankle picks and Lee has shown susceptibilities to that attack, ie Bresser, Rivera, and Marco Freaking Vespa who rode in on his scooter and ankle picked and nearly cradled to pin Lee. Also, Lee is not the skinny little kid he was in College. he's one bad weight cut or injury away from making this a scary match. Overall though I think I'd give Luke a 20% right now
  25. Lee is too good a handfighter and Lilladahl is still a bit of a counter puncher, its gonna be tough.
  26. purely an observation and I am sure just a coincidence, but its sort of funny that Herring and Jax make commitments and go on to have the best performances of their lives (to PSU and OKST respectively) and Bo commits to Iowa and takes his first age level domestic loss in almost 2 years.
