Vito, Hamiti, and more in Poland next week
nhs67 replied to okokzach's topic in International Wrestling
I think your assessment is pretty spot-on. That said, I think the Mirasolas could go 184/197 at legitimately any other B1G program this next year and start. Their dad is big. Hopefully he can fill out sooner rather than later. I expected him to be considerably larger than 218lbs by now (I was expecting the 230lb range, honestly). -

My response to this, and it is specific to Taylor, is that he was cutting to 163lbs and looked unhealthy. He simply filled out, like a 3-4 year old Rottweiler. -
Why Is DOJ Meeting With Ghislane Maxwell??
WrestlingRasta replied to red viking's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Another interesting development today......In the lawsuit vs Murdoch, Trump has agreed to abate is request for expediated depositions in the case, and has agreed for the two sides not to engage in discovery while awaiting to see if Murdoch's motion to dismiss goes through or not. Interesting.... -
Vito, Hamiti, and more in Poland next week
scourge165 replied to okokzach's topic in International Wrestling
I I know he lost to him this year, but...he was a Jr in HS and Mirasola spent the whole year just packing on weight and he beat him almost exclusively with pushouts and kina bullying him. Ross looks like he's getting bigger and by the time I just think it's going to be physically overwhelming. Cole Mirasola is... probably a 197 if he's not a twin and if his Brother didn't want to go to PSU. He can add weight, but... it's gonna be tough for him to get up to 240 and still be as athletic as he is. Ross could get to 260 and I don't think he's lose much. Mirasola's path is probably better at '84 and '97 in College, but they are committed for one more year to State College. I don't believe that's the case with HGH but I don't know... It's also pretty lazy to just play into those rumors. There's nothing there but some guys putting on muscles and a couple guys popping. We had guys who took steroids. We didn't turn them in, but...we looked down on them(though they were...big and our HWTs so only in a figurative sense). So I'll refrain from mentioning that again as there's no basis other than... he got really big...which lots of guys do. He's also not some guy who just came onto the scene, he was one of the best Wrestlers in the 2nd best State, probably the best Wrestler in the Country in HS, he was SO close to being a 4X undefeated champ. If Dake wasn't looking for a challenge and he doesn't get caught on his own move... anyway... The thing I'm not sure about is that Taylor and Hamiti really had different builds. Taylor was so skinny and long and I see that in Hamiti. You would know better than I, but then I'd just say look at Dake. He added a lot of weight, good weight and he didn't have that build where it looked like he had wings. That's where Taylor's physique really changed and was impressive. The shoulders/neck/back. I think this last cycle is going to be viewed as a down cycle and the next couple will be much better. Just a better mix of younger vets and elite College guys a year or two into their careers. One of whom is currently on a World Team at an Olympic weight and the other who should grow into one pretty easily. That's going to be something to watch at Okie State. They seem like for so long guys have held weights that weren't ideal for them. Does Jax end up as a '49 pounder and really add muscle as he goes or does he try and stay down at '33 or even '41? I guess... we should wait for him to finish HS first! -
Why does flow keep senior grads in rankings after Fargo?
Jon_Kozak replied to Truzzcat's topic in High School Wrestling
Fargo was less than 3 weeks ago and high school grads can wrestle there. I believe they'll be removed in the next ranking. I don't want to speak for Bray (who does the high school rankings) but I think it's a better projection of where a kid is actually at heading into college than if they were removed 3 months ago. Think Mesenbrink after U20s his senior year. He made a huge jump that summer before his first year of college. -

People that work for Trump constantly lie for him. If you don't, you tend to get fired. That's how it works. If you haven't seen that by now, you have your head in the sand. -
I don't think it's hyperbole. A few years I'd have said "No", but times have changed. Watching Forrest and Duke makes me think Sanchez and James can achieve the same- talent is there and the exposure young wrestlers have these days is just insane. If this were Japan, both would likely be seen as too old to complete in 2028. That being said: By 2028 cycle, Sanchez will be a senior in high school (a la Duke), so won't have the benefit of a year of college under his belt (Lilledahl got teched 10-0 fast by Lee as a senior and improved a bunch in his year of college). However, I fully expect Sanchez to be the first ever undefeated, 4x CA State champion (never been done). If there is a weight to be competitive at the next level, it's 57kg. Lee is Lee, and Lilledahl is world class, but in 3 years Sanchez will have grown into the weight and will be competitive. I'm tempted to take Sanchez over Liam Cronin (our #3) right now. haha! With James, Lockett (who's pretty good) outweighed him but also outwrestled him- I felt like Lockett was out to prove a point. While there's a gap between MM/Carr and James now, good news for James is that by 2028, he'll know exactly where he stacks up (being in the same room with Penn St. guys). He's got the talent to compete in this next Olympic cycle.

Why does flow keep senior grads in rankings after Fargo?
Truzzcat replied to Truzzcat's topic in High School Wrestling
@Jon_Kozak I am bringing my grievances to you. -
I personally don't have an issue with keeping the rankings until after the open/trials and even Fargo but why are guys that are a week or two out from starting college classes still ranked? It's a very silly thing to get upset about I know but I like to see the ranking landscape and its hard to do so when 14 kids at each weight are not even high schoolers anymore.

Favorite Political TV Show or Movie
red viking replied to Doublehalf's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Something political? I don't think I really watch any of those; at least not fictional. I subscribe to a lot of news/opinion podcasts, but I don't think that's what you're thinking of. On Netflix, I watch stuff like Ozark, Bloodline, Breaking Bad, etc -

Assuming he's telling the truth (which is a stretch for anybody connected to pedo Trump), big surprise that she'd have favorable testimony for Trump after he bribed her by moving her to a country club prison. -
Wokesters flipping out over an Ad about blue jeans.
red viking replied to JimmySpeaks's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
I subscribe and listen to podcasts to a significant extent. To and from work every day, plus at night. Several of my podcasts are conservative BTW, but several are considered "liberal" and NONE of them are complaining about this ad. They are: 1) Pod Save The World, 2) Pod Save America, 3) The Daily, 4) Ezra Klein Show, 5) The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart, 6) Making Sense with Sam Harris, 7) 99% Invisible 8)Up First NPR, 9) Ted Talks Daily. Probably others too since some wingers consider moderate info sources to be "liberal." -

Yah; 0.1% of the liberal population complaining is making headlines on our winger-dominated media outlets. Shows how pathetic the winger media is. They fabricate mostly B.S. -

Truzzcat replied to okokzach's topic in International Wrestling
Nitrogen retention and upregluation in MTOR to extreme degrees is not generally conducive to good cardio however there are a ton of peptide either injectable or nasal inhalants that can help improved your aerobic capacity and mitochondrial function as well as EPO. Not saying any of the training lab guys are doing so I am sure they leverage whatever they can within the rules just playing devils advocate. -
Wasn't he beating figs badly prior to an injury default?

You are exhausting. Just talk about the topic man.

You can believe me if you want, or not. I don't really care about your opinion, but go ahead and do an internet search and see how many people are actually complaining about this blue jeans ad besides that original complaint on MSNBC and individual examples of people on social media (where you can literally find individuals with almost any opinion that can possibly exist). -
Trump moves Maxwell to Minimum Security Prison
red viking replied to red viking's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
It's called "multiple lines of evidence." There are several factors at play here that are pointing to Trump being a pedophile that committed pedo crimes at Epstein Island. What Alex Jones is saying is only one of them. I normally ignore what he says but that would be pretty dangerous of him to make such a claim with such a litigation-happy President. Trump is going to suddenly just lay down on this one though? Makes me suspect that this one may actually be true but when I combine it with everything else going (including the fact that Trump has made bribery just part of his everyday practice) on I'd say >50% chance that it is. -

Do you hear yourself? You don't believe what is in front of your own eyes but you sound like you are all in on what Alex Jones says? Of all people, you are willing to believe someone who calls Sandy Hook a hoax? You really are as crazy as they come.
