Why do people not think it’s a mental block after watching min 20-21 of the interview above and what Brands is saying before the match? He’s saying that he needs to not get in his own head and relax etc and basically doing self affirmations. I’m sincerely not trying to be argumentative, just genuinely curious how others are interpreting those clips

Do you see Spencer Lee leaving Iowa?
Interviewed_at_Weehawken replied to H82Lose's topic in College Wrestling
Bro... he got teched. Not a situation where heeded to get a clutch takedown. And conditioning CAN be a mental thing. -
Snyder prefers for it to be hard. Even willing to pay, oops I mean say, that's fine!
-
He doesn't have a mental block but he does have gas tank issues. After that first exchange he looked to already be stumbling a bit. Any time I see him bouncing in the middle I think oh crap, he's starting to feel it. He's never been a guy to go and get a TD at the end of a match and that is a key to winning a world title. He doesn't do that because he's tired. I love the guy, was pulling hard for him, but he's either overtraining a bit or he just has bad lungs.

OkSt to get right mentally with Taylor and have a mentor/mentee relationship with Jax. Fix can stick around, and RBY will be mutually beneficial. THIS IS HOW WE DESTROY PENN STATE PEOPLE

We have 3 guys 21 or younger on the senior team Jax(18),PJ(19),Levi(21) (3-2 5th, 1-1 DNP, 3-0 wrestling for gold) 4 other u20 world champs 1 has another year of u20 eligibility (Marcus(18), Stanich(20), McNelly(20), Rademacher(20) Guys that have not yet competed this year internationally and or did not win gold at u20's: Mitchell Messenbrink(22) (u20 champ, u20 silver, u23 bronze Beat David carr once) Bo Bassett(19) (u20 bronze, Cadet gold) Ladarion Lockett(19) (u20 5th, u20 silver, Cadet gold) Will Henckel(19) (u20 silver) Josh Barr(21) (u20 silver) Zack ryder(19) (u20 silver, 2x cadet bronze) Connor Mirasola(20) (u20 bronze u20 5th) Cole Mirasola(20) (u20 bronze) Luke Lilledahl(20) (u20 gold, u20 silver, cadet gold, cadet silver) Ben Keuter(21) (u20 gold, u20 silver) And there are a bunch of other guys waiting in the wings Miller, James, Raney twins etc... I just think its important to remember that we are probably the best country in the world under 23 and under right now so not to get too down on not winning 8 medals at seniors.

Do we have a "When you count down 80 schools to farm as much attention as is humanly possible and then have to start all over but sense then your stock dropped so you have to imply both your brothers are part of the deal now" meme yet.

We all know I'm a big fan of the US latter

I am thinking this may mean its a wrap at least for BO Melvin was wrestling at Tyrant duals. Keegan was not wrestling but listed so I assume he decided to go with BO? I wonder if the three are not 100% a package deal.

Interviewed_at_Weehawken replied to D3 for LU's topic in International Wrestling
I'm not sure? Has anyone done the points? I would assume Iran outscores us at 65, and then a likely scenario is Snyder 2nd and Azapira 3rd. That doesn't sound great to me. -

Interviewed_at_Weehawken replied to H82Lose's topic in College Wrestling
That’s a little different in that they retired and probably not receiving compensation. (Or maybe a little because I still see Warner and Marinelli training with hwc guys). Spencer going to another club might be a little different. I like Spencer and I like the brands, but if a change of scenery was able to get him over the top, I’d be all for it. Just not sure how the contract works and whether there’s a “no compete” -

Looks like the team title could be riding on how Kyle Snyder performs tomorrow
