Conservatives flipping out about a restaurant logo
WrestlingRasta replied to 1032004's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
I look at sites that pool stories from all different kinds of news sources (yahoo, bing, etc). And I guess that I don’t see a whole litany of outlash about the Cracker Barrel logo is what leads me to believe the “story” that conservatives are going crazy over it is more from the X (etc) users looking to make a big splash so the people who fall for it will jump in and run with it, rather than it actually being a real big deal. That is one indicator. Most of my friends and family are also conservative, some much more than me, and FB is the one social media site I do use. The fact that I have not seen it brought up in conversation or on any of these Facebook feeds…where people are just being people and communicating and sharing pictures and other things about their days, instead of looking for clickbait and sensationalism, is another indicator for me. Now, you may be experiencing something different in your world. I acknowledge that. I’m just saying I personally do not see all the outcry that I am reading about on here. It’s okay. -

Trump learned it from senile Joe. Newsom can’t even run a homeless shelter
-
Ain’t that the truth?
-
Here's Newsom's presidential campaign ad for you:
-
11.5 years before dims stand a chance and Newsum will never be president.
-
He can barely walk. Embarrassing to see our leader limp toward putin. It was over right then. We need a,stronger leader like Newsom.

Wokesters flipping out over an Ad about blue jeans.

It’s hilarious that wokesters are comparing this to Cracker Barrel. -
MAGA? It might be the best selling hat in the world don't ya think?
-
Like Trump said, if he cured cancer, the dims would protest and some dim judge would rule it unconstitutional.

It seems like they are losing steam on getting it to be a school sponsored program. What most people don't know is the University of Texas had wrestling. It was a long time ago. They even beat Oklahoma A&M in a dual! I think they beat the Okie Aggies twice! Another bit of "Useless trivia for $500" is that Arkansas State also had a wrestling program back in 1949-1953. Coach departed for a job in his home state. The open position was Head Wrestling Coach at Iowa State University. The coach was, Harold Nichols. I won't say that is the rest of the story, but there you go.

Trump's DOJ wants to criminalize free speech
ionel replied to Tripnsweep's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
I'm fine with banning fireworks unless stringent controll and training, they do a lot of damage and seem a waste of resources. Should private citizens be able to shoot them off in public places as a free speech statement? My second part was a question not an argument. -
Okay... even I think, that the announcer on the Mat B commentary is, for a lack of a better term, uninformative (other than speaking the obvious observations of one who didn't wrestle in his life!) End of mini-rant. D3
