I definitely read that with one sliiiightly different letter and was like "damn ok just putting that out in the open, eh?" lol
-
I honestly don't think he would be wasting a year in highschool and wouldnt he still have the ability to travel to Stillwater to train with the "RTC" during the season?
-
He won a close match at the last second against the North Korean. I want to be fair to the people I am firing in case there is a law suit
-
Horrible idea to trade a year on the back end to screw around in highschool. He's also more likely to get hurt wrestling high schoolers.
-
The goal should be to be the best in the world. And then go intergalactic if possible.
-
Some dude told me that Lee didn't live up to his expectations. An Olympic silver medal is super impressive.
-
How much of that was due to the bracket though? If he was on the other side the best he could have gotten was bronze and if Ono and Vito were here he wouldn't be medalling. Him and Ahoura Khateri sort of had identical results they both navigated their way to the final only to get dominated by the number one guy in the field. Have we started to develop decent 61s or is it just a fluke result.
-
The expectation in Iran at least for Firouzpour and Ghasempour was gold. The fact that American guys won rubs more salt in the wound especially in the absence of Yazdani and Ghasempour going down just to lose to Valencia. Every year the expectation is the team title and multiple gold medals especially since both the US and Russia are in a rebuild.
-
Valencia has never lost to Hidlay in any style and they have wrestled many, many times. The closest was this last spring, where Valencia 'only' beat him 4-2.
-
I agree Hidlay was awesome. Your take is still wrong aside for that.

This guy is a Silver Medalist in the God damn Olympic Games. An absolute stud. Why is he talked about like he’s a sad story and held to such an unreasonable standard? So many things have to go right to win all the time.
-
You can disagree all you want. It still doesn't change the actual scores. Hidlay was awesome. He was the obvious aggressor. I'd pick him by a wider margin in a rematch.
-
Askren had a general take, didn't mention Nickal, but he said wrestlers can get a chip on their shoulder and just decide that they want to wow everyone with their hands, which is a big mistake obviously. Seems like Nickal might have caught that bug.
-
Valencia beat Hidlay 5-0 at the Ono vs Spencer Lee exhibition mathces. Congrats Iran on your team world championship.
-
Based on the way he wilted in his last fight he should be asking for a match with Anthony Valencia.
-
I don't think he has a shot at 86. Valencia is obviously too big for him. A year from now while sitting out until the finals that won't change.
-
It will be interesting moving forward. It's easy to love MMA when your getting propped up by whooping some bums that are no where near your class of athlete, but when you have to go to war, it takes something else. I'm not very knowledgeable tbh when it comes to MMA, but I don't understand how Bo is so scared to wrestle with jiujitsu guys. Has grappling improved to the point that wrestling is no longer able to nullify things on the ground? Genuinely asking. It's odd to me that someone would pursue a career in MMA and abandon his greatest fighting skill in the process.
-
Nah. He did do great. We agree there.

Honestly, Zahid would absolutely embarrass Bo in wrestling now. Also prob has better boxing.
-
Or elitist liberal snob who thinks everyone who doesn't think like them are dumb and uneducated.
-
I really enjoyed watching that. he uses the same Bulldoze approach that DT and Yazdani too. How has he done against Valencia? Would love to see a video of those matches

Hidlay > Brooks

I like the british guys. They don't say "I" all the time. Imagine how funny it would be if one of them said "The polish athletes...not known for their intellects...."

It depends on how many golds we end up with. One gold does not cut it for me, two golds is OK, three golds would be great. I think our coaching lost two us golds in 79, 86 and 92. If they end up with golds in 65 and 97, let's talk It all comes down to expectations. Below is my personal assessment 57 - DNP as expected no positive or negative impact on the coaches 61- Exceeded expectations, positive point for the coaches 65 - If Amouzad wins, positive if not no impact 70 - DNP, Disaster, negative for the coaches 74 - 5th as expected no impact 79 - bronze, negative for the coaches 86 - bronze, major negative to the coaches 92 - bronze, negative for the coaches 97 - silver or gold, if silver, no impact, if gold, positive for the coaches 125 - Automatic gold, no impact on the coaches If i was voting, if we get two golds tomorrow, great job coaches If we get one gold, they keep their jobs if we get two silvers, fire them, Call Trump and see if we can trade Dorostkar and Dabir for DT. Given Trump's expertise in Art of the Deal, it just might work
