Are you guessing or going off firm information here? My guess would be you're saying because it's not likely to yield a good result, but... well, I don't want to guess.

Wooaaah!!! I'm with you on everything UP until you besmirch the name of Ty Cobb. A drunk slob already made up a fantastic story. Again, not to undermine the larger point, there's lots of S-talking going on. I don't believe there are a lot of racial slurs. That's not going to go well. I mean, "white boy" is about as bad as it gets. Now, Ty Cobb...not only was he NOT a racist and those stories just insanely made up, not even exaggerated, but he was actually the opposite. He was open minded and VERY progressive for his time. It's always relative, Lincoln was still "racist" but Ty Cobb's family was forced to leave their home in Georgia for advocating for abolition of slavery, he was raised in a pretty open house hold. The story of him beating a disabled black man nearly to death was actually a teammate who got into a fight with a white bellhop. He advocated letting "negros" play, he was friends with Jackie Robinson... during a time full of racial tension, Cobb was...again, very open minded; Al Stump wrote a book that decimated the mans reputation...and I don't blame you for not knowing, but... I love Baseball and the History of the game and I hate that drunk slob. The Book is what led to Tommy Lee Jones playing him in the movie and the main REAL reference point as it'd just be too hard for old Al to actually do some research for the book! Sorry...I know that wasn't really the main point. I am really skeptical Griener said 'f'ing white girl,' though. I dislike her as much as almost anyone, but... I don't think she' say that.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell my problem was, I went back and watched those other shows and they were great. I think having to watch one at a time is annoying to me. When you go from Walter is sick and dying, sees Jessie to the desert and they're having someone call Hank because they're hiding inside, It's just a better way to watch. You see Godless though? Also, anything with Tom Hardy(not gay)...the guy is just in almost only good movies(I never saw Venom as that looked dumb, but Taboo or Peaky Blinders the new one, Mobland was great. Godless though... That... is one of my top 5-6 favorite shows I've seen...at least in years. Just awesome.

People in sports talk trash and will find anything they can to do it. The racial stuff goes both ways. We just don't hear it much because in most sports, fans aren't close enough to see or hear. A guy who goes to the same gym as I do played offensive line in the NFL for a number of years. He doesn't get into specifics, but he says there is a lot of NSFW talk going on down there that few people ever hear. He did say one of his teammates was mic'd up for a game and he figured out how to break it when he realized they would hear everything he said. It's just a part of sports where millions of dollars are at stake. So even if that is what she said, it's not exactly surprising. Athletes sometimes take exception to things said, like Ron Artest, or Vernon Maxwell. Even hall of famer Ty Cobb beat up a handicapped man who had the audacity to suggest that Cobb and or his mom might have been partially black. Ultimately these kinds of things are rarely a big deal until punches get thrown.

I think that was just to change this topic... which is fine. I liked American Primeval to kill time, but...streaming has kinda been crushing it with the westerns. Godless I think with Jeff Daniels. That series was awesome. Jeff Daniels is part of a gang and they chase a guy who left... There was another one, "Old Henry." That was a really cool premise. I watched an episode or two of Slow Horses and got...bored. But I did the same with GOT, Breaking Bad. The Sopranos. All shows I didn't watch until well after they aired.

You already lost your main argument. Don’t try to change the topic. -
Wait...no, you said you posted it because the Media isn't talking about it, remember? But THEN you said you had to start another thread because the media was talking about it SO much! LOL...I can see why this thread got quiet Cavvy!

LMFAO!!! It's funny how obviously transparent you are. 62% want "Every single illegal alien," and here's a poll that asks who broadly supports deporting illegal immigrants and even says . However, that support drops significantly if caveats are added... Probably like "every single illegal immigrant," and of course, "Illegal=undocumented," so that'd include the dreamers and they have overwhelming support. It's Jimmy/Scouts and Caveira who KNOW they're lying and still post the link anyway! https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2025/06/12/trump-immigration-migrant-farmers-hotel-workers-deported/84166061007/ -
Have you seen "The Professional" he's a top 5 villain. He's amazing until he gets killed in the first 30 minutes of True romance. Great as Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour. Rivetting as the weirdest bad guy ever in Fifth Element... He's great in the series Slow Horses but so far the show is stupid aside from him.

So how long can they keep him like this? He's been sedated for like a month now.

No spoilers. It’s like 7 years pre civil war. A war in Utah. Brigham young … the us army…. An Indian tribe (a very specific one) …. It’s very fascinating. your turn what should I watch of gary oldman? Always looking for cool new stuff edit: I have not seen overly religious stuff out of Brigham …. But I’m not done so I honestly don’t know where it’s going per se …..

There is and was "professional wrestling" in the USA. That it evolved into scripted theatrics like the modern WWE isn't just a coincidence and offers valuable insights. I think the main challenge would be to somehow win over college wrestling fans. I think wrestling lacks the knockout that boxing and mma have. Pinning or throwing someone isn't the same. Scoring points especially isn't. I don't think there's that much crossover or potential with those fanbases (the singlet doesn't help either).

I think it's pretty standard in a globalized world to try to learn from the best practitioners in whatever field you're in. They are unlikely to ever face each other for real and Snyder isn't Sadulaev's main obstacle anymore, as far as we can tell.

I feel awful that I walk around each day as an above-average healthy male adult with at least average (probably?) and some/most above-average organs (based on my athletic physio profile over 4 decades) that I will never be able to support others because I happened to miss out on the other end of the genetic lottery with a transmissible chronic liver disease. It is not fair that I have enough physical gifts to stand out, relatively speaking, amongst society but I can never help others if something were to happen to me, much less if my parents or wife or kids needed even something as "simple" as a kidney. No, the unfair part is that one day I will need to be the one asking for help despite all that was given to me. And when you don't just know, but you have to fully reconcile what that means, you know It is absolute bvll*I poop my pants, don't laugh at me*. It is an awful feeling that I wish upon no one else. I hope Askren can get the help he needs. I also hate what that means. There is no god.

As cool as it is to Mizzou make his top 9 list, I would be super surprised if he picked us.
