Against Starocci ferrari showed a) he's smart and hard wrestling enough to not get warn out and obliterated by a PSU collar tie (how many times have you seen someone wrestle aaron brooks like the plan. was to leave him on their head) b) He's really really hard to take down, the flexibility is real, C) he can compete while obviously out sized. All this is a huge statement for a freshmen.

After some work myself, it says the champ scores 21, and an 8th place wrestler would score 8, but it also says advancement in the good side is 1 point and that advancement in the consis is 1....I thought advancment in the consi's was .5?

Team B has ten AAs, all lost in the Round of 32 and won decisions until the consi quarters, and then lost out to 8th. How does the scoring shake out?

I feel like the plan was to put out Ferrari against Starocci, McEnelly, and guarantee they keep Arnold away from Starocci at Big Tens, go into NCAAs with one loss, stay away from Starocci, make the finals, and on the whole thats win for Iowa (it even kind of vindicates Arnold because its hard to say its not a real rivalry if its in the NCAA finals). Unfortunately Silas beating Arnold (and as convincingly as you can in the context of an overtime match), pretty much blows up that plan. Do they put in Arnold, hoping he can get the upset and get operation "lose in the finals" back on track? I think so. Thats my take what do you guys think.
