  1. Then maybe we can finally spell his name right
  2. I just don't know if you can make that assessment after one season. Everyone knew if would be a down year after they lost Glory and Monday. As noted, the change did come quite late in the offseason after the Koll effect. And by the way, Koll not having a great year either so does that mean he will also fail? Princeton has had an up and down year but give Joe some time. They have some young talent to develop and a nice connection with the top team in the state with Delbarton kids constantly coming in. I just don't think you can judge an Ivy coach in his first year when they can't really play by the same rules as the rest of the conferences.
  3. No chance that all these kids named Cael in high school and college are named after a very famous Cael who won Olympic gold 20 years ago and capped the greatest college career ever a few years before that. It's clearly all coincidence.
  4. Let just clear the air here. First off and most important, I use Jagoffs lovingly, I needed a name for my people and it was just stupid enough to match my own stupidity. And how could I be jealous of any setup when I'll have eight mats on five screens? Here's the trick. Some devices like Apple TV and XBox have a multiscreen function where you can pick four different mats and make a quad box. Then get four more screens for the other four mats and you're set. Or, if you have two big screens and two devices for multiscreen, you can do eight mats across two screens for a nice, clean look. Now if JL Stock is gonna be out on his boat for the tournament, he might have bigger problems.
  5. He's nearly 16 and a half but that doesn't take away from how impressive he's been
  6. You'd be hard-pressed to find many 17 or 18 year olds in college wrestling when most are nearly 19 when they graduate high school
  7. I think Spencer was in eighth grade when that happened
  8. He says he missed weight at NCAAs and I assume he means 2021 but he never even wrestled in conference that year so he didn’t qualify anyway. They did miss tenth by 7.5 points so if he had a decent tournament then yes, it’s possible they could’ve finished in the top ten. But since he was declared out way before that, you can’t really put the blame on him. Now Mike Van Brill going nuts at Big Tens for third before going 0-2 at Nationals, that hurt.
  9. While maybe not the best, but I love that the late 70's, early 80's heavyweight brackets are filled with guys who either became Olympic champs, NFL players, pro wrestlers, or actors
  10. Of recent tournaments, Ashnault has wrestled 23 matches total which has to be up there for the last decade
  11. In the 50's they thought plenty of actors red shirted
  12. My credentials are minimal and they handed me the reins to the world-famous mailbag so anything is possible
