How are refugees who have been forced from their homes supposed to care for their kids, oh wise one? They have nothing. Literally nothing. I went to high school with a kid from Sudan. He and his two sisters were the only surviving kids of eight children. His older brother got hacked to death with a machete. He had multiple burns on his lower legs from where his captors had tortured him with a red hot machete blade. Several of his younger siblings died from starvation. Here’s the thing: If they went through the appropriate processes (Congress) to change the budget, that would be fine. That’s how it’s supposed to work. The President is not a king. If the next government funding bill kills all of these jobs and is signed into law, that’s sad, but that’s the appropriate process. Unfortunately for Elon and Co, they were ordered to stop what they were doing and destroy all copies of data by a federal judge. If they don’t, they go to jail.
