  1. “Why doesn’t Penn State replicate the training and competition schedules of the teams they pistol whip in duals and at NCAAs?!?!????”-Fred Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. They avoided top competition so much that they went 4-1 at the All Star classic, with wins at 149, 174, 197 and 285 and a loss at 184. Beau Bartlett avoided it by beating Joey McKenna, Matt Kolodzik and Luke Pletcher, and losing to Andrew Alirez. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Tanner Cook, Kamdyn Munro, Tyler Lillard, Matt Lee. Those are people I know he's tried to hurt. Looks like he was DQd at the Cougar Clash last year, too. Not sure of those particular circumstances, though.
  4. I don't think OSUw scores more than 6 team points. I have Kaylor beating Davis, and then all PSU. Kasak and Mesenbrink pull out a W each. MDs for Haines, Brooks and Kerk. 30-3 final score.
  5. A lot of top 15 matchups in this one. One of the better duals of the weekend. 125: Davis vs #15 Kaylor 133: #4 Nagao vs #26 Whisenhunt 141: # Bartlett vs #25 Belton 149: Kasak or Evans vs #12 Singleton (UPSET ALERT!) 157: #1 Haines vs Crosby 165: #12 Mesenbrink vs. #10 Olguin (UPSET ALERT!) 174: #1 Starocci vs #7 Wittlake 184: #2 Truax vs #6 Munoz 197: #1 Brooks vs #30 Rademacher 285: #1 Kerkvliet vs #12 McDermott I'd like to point out that I don't think Mesenbrink beating Olguin or Kasak beating Singleton would be upsets; I EXPECT them to happen. I think Davis will give Kaylor a good match, too. Might be a bit too early to expect a win but he's susprised me so far.
  6. I’m guessing Yazdani is a top 3-5%er in Iran and is not lacking for anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. If she plagiarized someone else’s work, absolutely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Nah, I’m fairly certain you’re the idiot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. That’s pretty funny. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. But have you seen the commemorative coin? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You’re creeping everyone out. Please leave. And if you are one of the offending parties, please stop going to youth wrestling tournaments. The activities noted may not constitute a crime by the letter of the law but it’s pretty shitty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. My point was that his apology was bullshit. It was “if you were offended”. He literally didn’t apologize for his actions. That’s trash, but completely in line for AJ Ferrari. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. If these people feared violent reprisal against them, they wouldn’t do it. Let’s say you show up to some youth tournament and pick a fight with a guy you THINK is him. Then, it turns out it’s the wrong guy. You’re going to jail, chief. Or, let’s say he’s armed. Even if he’s a suspected criminal, if he’s allowed to carry a gun in that state, and you attacks him, he can kill you, and walk. There’s a reason the law exists. You don’t get to take it into your own hands. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Two thoughts on this: 1) Other schools want Iowa to implode. Seems plausible. However, I view this as shortsighted; not thinking about the long game. 2) If Iowa implodes, and the AD has to fire TnT, they might get a real coach from the 21st century. They might win more than 1 title a decade then, and I can’t have that. I think he’s biding his time in State College until he’s done with competition and Cael retires, but I don’t want DT to be lured away with a seven figure salary by Iowa. 15. Slumlord Supreme! He’s leveling the playing field! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalki
  16. Slumlord Supreme and Iowa fans eat this up. This is “attitude” and “tough wrestling” that has, apparently, been missing. A key component to their Gable days. Slumlord Supreme is going to pay Ferrari no matter what. He’s that desperate. Whether it drives recruits away from the program is a secondary effect he might not have considered, though. 17. Man that’s rough. Hope he’s able to string together a couple of solid weeks at the end of the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I haven’t recorded a ride on Strava in years. Might get back on the horse this year. When you have no formal training plan, a weekly segment poaching ride can be a remarkably effective approach. Also great for finding areas to ride, too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah. Specifically, he should apologize to Glazier, the referee, and his coaches, by name, for the specific things he did. His “apology” is an “I’m only sorry because it might impact my bottom line”, as written. It’s bullshit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Gabe Arnold is not AJ Ferrari. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yeah. Terrible optics for Iowa. A coworker who has watched zero point zero wrestling matches in his life texted me about it this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Tom Brands frantically doing a Google search: “How do I erase the internet?” The only way an AD with half a brain lets AJ onto the wrestling team is if somehow she doesn’t find out about it. I don’t know the first thing about Beth Goetz but I assume she has a cell phone and an email account. And, that both of them blew up last night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. On behalf of Penn State fans, no one is terrified of the Ferraris. Why? Middle one isn’t that good. Little one is great, but isn’t done with high school. Big one, three years left counting this one. If he joins this year, good for him, doesn’t move the needle at NCAAs. But man, they are just cancer for recruiting. Despite Bob Nicolls’ money, they can’t land anyone besides DeLuca. If you read GIA, they thought they were getting at least one of Henckel and Desmond. Penn State is out recruiting them at a 2 or 3 to 1 ratio, and the Ferraris are only going to make it worse. It’s great. There will be 2 years of actual points from the Ferraris, if they stick around.
  24. Lost in all of the post-match antics are two things: 1) AJ’s reactions to the two stalling calls. If he survives this, Brooks is going to pour it on him in a way that he has never seen or felt. If he has a meltdown over a single point, he’s goin to fall apart against Brooks. 2) He went to OT vs #19 Glazier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. And maybe the AD if/when she hears about this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
