Some context
Streaming NCAA wrestling became significantly easier in the mid-to-late 2010s around 2018, as major sports networks and dedicated platforms expanded their digital offerings.
2014-2016: ESPN began increasing its streaming coverage of NCAA wrestling through WatchESPN (now ESPN+) and its app, making more matches accessible.
2018: The launch of ESPN+ made it much easier to stream NCAA wrestling, including dual meets, conference tournaments, and the NCAA Championships.
2020s: Big Ten Network (BTN) and B1G+ started streaming nearly all Big Ten wrestling events, further expanding access. Other conferences also partnered with platforms like FloWrestling and Trackwrestling for exclusive content.
By 2020-2022, it became very easy to stream almost every major NCAA wrestling event live through a mix of ESPN+, B1G+, FloWrestling, and conference-specific networks.
