  1. I think it is much more about the cost. These loans have fueled the disproportionate cost increase of education for decades. Highly unethical of these "non-profit" institutions. Very similar to health care.
  2. Not at all. It is an objective assessment. Very weird that a company of that scale is compelled to throttle down it's traffic.
  3. Musk says Twitter is getting scraped too much, so they are limiting account activity(including paid) and requiring an account to view any tweets. Decent chance that is a lie and they are running out of money to pay for scale, which would indicate impending collapse.
  4. Athletes are next. Wonder what the Stanford FB would like w/o preferential admission? I know Christian McCaffery didn't have the grades to get in. Oh well, he was a 6X admissions dipper - athlete, both parents athletes, both parents Stanford alumni, wealthy parents. He might have pushed out a Nobel prize winner. Go Cardinal!
  5. All SCOTUS decisions are rooted in law.
  6. Nobody takes him seriously. He just supplies vaccine narrative for those who refuse to comprehend simple statistics. Has he always spoken like this? Long term Covid?
  7. I think he voted for Thomas and raked Anita Hill over the coals, so no. I don't recall what Thomas's stated position on AA was at the time. Thomas knew Hill through their time together at the Equal Opportunity Commission, which was part of the DOE.
  8. Clarence Thomas understands AA very well. For me but not for thee. Next on his agenda is Loving vs VA, which is clearly federal overreach.
  9. This tweet is straight out of the blue. Which refusal? Who are Turley, Shapley and Baier? Joe or Hunter's storage unit? Who refused and what did they refuse? Sounds like nonsense without some context.
  10. Now if she were a Chinese spy hooker with a cleft running the length of her spine for the party favors.......
  11. Are you rating AB a strong buy? Passes the ESG sniff test!
  12. What did he do with them? Bury them with Ivana?
  13. The people that hate them are in the house and demanding attention. Noteworthy?
  14. The politically incorrect remarks about the customer base were way after the promotion. The commentary was bad business because it complicates recovery from the situation, but the accuracy of the comments is the cause of the boycott. Pride beer cans aren't normally political, which is the part AB missed badly. Thus, your premise is correct.
  15. I remember giving you a little grief over the carbon tax. You are right about that causing a rise in gas prices. How do you address the fall in gas tax revenue WA is experiencing? Additionally, localized supply issues do indeed cause large localized price increases. We had a major refinery go off line for a few months in Denver. It caused a 30-40 cent/gallon price hike.
  16. The stated rationale for printing the promotional rainbow can was solid business sense - expanding their market. The fact that it was grossly counter-productive means they were correct in the need to do so but didn't understand the depth of the prejudices of their existing customer base.
  17. According to the article, it took a matter of hours to lose 25% of market share. What act was so egregious it should be a subject in business school?
  18. I think the primary significance of this audio is the concise repudiation of the BS stories he tells concerning the declassification process.
  19. Israel seems like a pretty easy path to worlds for Jewish people. Currently all the Finesilvers rep them, at a minimum. Three will be in this upcoming ranking tournament. There must be quite a few Americans take this route over the years. Durlacher, I think.
  20. Plot twist. Ukraine outbids Russia and Wagner becomes part of Ukraine's defense force.
  21. Perhaps they'll attempt attacking Kiev from the north again.
  22. The politicians lie through their teeth to serve their own needs. We need to reserve judgement until evidence is independently vetted through the legal system. Speaking of which, Look-away Gym Jordan is about to get some unwanted publicity. The tOSU/Strauss lawsuit was greenlighted by SCOTUS.
  23. Holy smokes. What's next - asbestos and lead paint? I like what NZ did with tobacco. Nobody born on or after a specified date can purchase tobacco, thus setting the last generation able to buy tobacco.
  24. Quinessential Trump in content, culpability and delivery.
  25. He does, which will require a quick resolution to this. If he feels he is going to be assassinated, there is going to be serious bloodshed and sooner rather than later. He won't roll over to be executed.
