  1. Really good point... If he's got a chin, he'll be trouble.
  2. Lol Directly related... Is wrestling in the enhanced games? About to go look it up
  3. You guys are nuts - he was 100% unconscious. You don't always go fully limp when you're out - source: have done high level bjj for almost 2 decades. Also I believe you can recover very quickly from going out that way, although I have only experienced that myself once. I wrestled in the ACC and wanted Trumble to win for what it's worth. Edit: Askren believes he was unconscious too, and he's about as good of a source as you could want given his abundance of experience putting people out in bjj. Although I agree, I thought they should have kept Trumble's 2 for exposure there. And definitely don't think Trumble was trying to choke him out.
  4. One of these things is not like the other...
  5. Yeah, a lot of people do act like he owes us something other than being a good sport. And as the poster above said, he's respectful to the fan base. I think it's a shame we'll never see him at full potential dominating a cycle or 2 or 3. But I'll never forget his personal peak against Geno, that was unbelievable.
  6. No but I think it's at least something. Still pretty much unforgivable.
  7. Still a huge POS for that, but looks like he posted an apology and is stepping back from coaching (if he's not banned). https://www.instagram.com/p/DWzWJ4nDMQ3/?igsh=MTZ1bGc2N2Jmc3lmag==
  8. UMD - things are looking up! 197 AA
  9. I noticed that too! He's a beast, but I'm surprised he gets away with that. He's like already out.
  10. You're right, that was a pretty big one. Probably 1a and 1b of semis upsets this year.
  11. Kerkvliet knocking off undefeated #2 seed Hendrickson was pretty crazy. Thoughts?
  12. I love Penn State and how they wrestle, amazing. But have to agree with that last sentence a bit. I guess it could be that their perspective is so warped because B10 really is small time when you've got world and olympic champs in the room, not to mention too many ncaa titles to count. But they could try to remember that it's still very significant to a lot of their peers, and they themselves should still be proud of it.
  13. I think rby is/would be saved from that criticism by virtue of Fix's world level accolades while still in college.
  14. Wow you really may be the blindest homer on this site. You weren't on themat were you? I don't remember anyone like you for Nebraska
  15. Thanks LU and yes, that was the year and the bracket I'm looking for. Weight class too. (I'm not Aaron Martin looking to show off haha)
  16. Random shot in the dark. Anyone happen to have the 2005 West Virginia Open brackets? I found 2004 and 2006. Thanks!
