  1. Thanks Gus! Appreciate you my man
  2. Thank you my friend, crazy couple of days for sure!
  3. Thank you wkn. My wife’s 5’11” and comes from a basketball family. I hope to get my way with that. Here he is
  4. Thank you my friend, appreciate it.
  5. Thank you brother, certainly gives some perspective at the very least. I appreciate the wrestling community and especially this one here. Take care and God bless!
  6. I know, corrected it shortly after up above. It was a long day, our 2nd boy was born a few hours later
  7. Woops, I was wrong. Two years in grades. Not sure what I was thinking there. Maybe it was two in grade years and one in age. Time for me to go, having our 2nd child tonight and I’m arguing on the forums again lol
  8. You realize Duke is a HS Junior, right? One whopping year apart, disturbing for sure. I thought they were even closer in actual age, aren’t they? They’re both extremely elite besides any of that, any win at that level and of that caliber is a good win. You’ve got some more uncontrollable spite going on, manage it for hell sake
  9. Absolutely and no need my good man, you did nothing wrong. Hard topic to articulate and I did a poor job. Take care
  10. Noooooo, not what I mean. They’d be insane not to with the last two rosters. Every team should in some capacity. “Shouldn’t” refers to position/situation context and why are they in those they’ve been in lately with the volume and percentages. Obviously some failure in the recruiting domain. I look at Michigan very similarly, just more extreme in the struggle. People don’t talk about elements of things who aren’t as competent and not a threat.
  11. I see. And yeah, I don’t know how someone can say it’s not to some degree. I’d be really frustrated if I was a Nebraska fan or say, Clemson football with the opposition towards adding transfers, but my point initially was that David Taylor has to, while Tom and Iowa maybe…shouldn’t? They’re completely different situations with the time they’ve had to build their programs, create their culture, and find the talent aspects they value. Turnover is more typical for newer coaches in whatever NCAA sport, more stability later. It’s shocking Iowa is still in this position where so much overhaul is necessary to compete at the top tier. I think they’re getting it figured out a little more with their ‘26 class.
  12. Please explain, strange that you would say that. I’d relate it quite similarly to Mark Pope at Kentucky. Sorry for the basketball reference/analogy
  13. I think they both develop who they have/get fairly well, you referring to DT and transfers?
  14. One coach is in his 2nd offseason, the other his 17th I believe? One hasn’t had a a chance yet to build his roster through recruiting, the other has. You’re not really comparing the two situations, are you?
  15. I think he(Figueroa) called Parco and Teemer sellouts when they left. I feel bad for ASU
  16. Maybe answer my first question in the thread before asking if I have any others. Johny’s not speaking for you
  17. Wait a sec, you said he and Barr were the same developmentally in another thread purely based on results(they book took 2nd). Now you’re devaluing RW’s finish?
  18. Of course and I’m sure it’s getting more difficult for him. I would also be fairly confident he could, if he had to. It’s a hypothetical
  19. People? What is this? I’m talking about YOU. You’re arguing like ja, that was a nonsense response.
  20. I do actually, but the 174 guys aren’t. And Welsh can definitely make 174, said he’s wrestling around there through the summer. I’m sure going to 184 because of Haines. But this was also a guy who said back in the early winter Iowa would compete for the NC if they added Figueroa. In actuality, they would have only lost by what, 93?
  21. I don’t know why Iowa would be involved, and don’t know why he’d want to go there, but are you saying he’s not better than Patrick Kennedy or Gabe Arnold? Or maybe that Tom wouldn’t start the better wrestler?
  22. That’s crazy. You hypothesize/project/prognosticate all the time. You’re doing it here assuming five 1st year transfers. Yet refuse to with this situation just because Ayala has made the finals? If you would be given one meelion dollars to pick the winner in January, you’d pick Drake Ayala over Masanosuke Ono?
  23. That’s a solid squad, I would expect ~150 points. You would favor Ayala over Ono? I wouldn’t. And no Haines at 174? Not sure I understand
  24. Fall of Civilizations: The Wrestling Nits A story of greed, corruption, incredible lust for power, and especially pure greed. Narrated by Jimmy Cinnabon
