  1. It would have meant that Truax would be going back down to 174 after being 197 the previous year right?
  2. I can actually think of a few things that would legitimately qualify for that. For example - a slight labral tear in the shoulder - does not automatically require a surgery. But depending on where the tear is, and how strong the muscles are around it, the person will feel a different impact. You see it all the time in professional sports where they wait until the offseason to get an operation. Certain things can be enough of a gray area, you could probably wrestle-off and get surgery if you lose.
  3. Interesting that Nagao is healthy enough to wrestle-off against Davis, but injured enough to take a medical redshirt.
  4. No clue - with a room like they have - they have a lot of options at several weights. couple of their best wrestlers are on redshirt, but its still early and that could be removed. Should be interesting, but I would like to see Robinson and Camacho at 125/133 for a few duals
  5. Wrestlestat already went ahead and made the switch. I'd bet Camacho would challenge for 133 since Robinson has been having so much success at 125
  6. Yes lost 1-0 to Babin (Pitt), 12-0 to Seymour (Lehigh), and 11-1 to Sotelo (Harvard)
  7. Harvard's Jimmy Harrington beat Ed Scott for third place
  8. ahead of everyone
  9. AJ Ferrari - Christian Carroll - and Stephen Buchanan all in a row for Nick Stemmet. Tough stretch
  10. I guess he just had to make weight twice in two days though - maybe a factor?
  11. Caliendo running away with this now. Exciting match
  12. Teemer having his way here. Good learning match for the freshman. Teemer looks way bigger, and his defense is just too much
  13. If you haven't seen Cholakyan before, get ready for some fireworks
  14. 12 points without a single Parco Bomb thrown. Give us a throw!
  15. I dont have any inside information, but wrestlestat has been listing him as taking a redshirt this year - and Cholakyan as the starter.
  16. wonder why Provo hasn't been wrestling - injured? Anyway, Stanford looks extremely impressive without him and Cardenas. Tons of talent in the room
  17. currently it says "This information is not being released to the public yet."
  18. sounds good - and likewise for me.
  19. nothing comes to mind, but I'll do an avatar bet if someone is keen

  21. As someone who has moved around the country, I've noticed schools and regions all have different rules for birthday cutoffs and suggested starting time for kinder
  22. I could be totally offbase, but I felt inspired by your "let's expose our own bias" speech
  23. Mullen to me is more of a physical brute, stalking the opponent. Keuter has a bit more finesse and less of an intimidation factor (IMHO)
  24. I feel like Mullen and Keuter should switch schools. Mullen seems more like an Iowa guy and Keuter a Va Tech guy
  25. Mullen looks kinda like the guy that played Max Baer in Cinderella Man
