  1. @1032004, @D3 for LU, I have ESPN+, am logged in, but it is asking me for a TV Login (Fios, Fubo, Sling, etc) which I don't have.
  2. anyone watching that's giving PBP or is there a link somewhere tracking it?
  3. I was looking forward to watching this. Apparently its only on regular cable since its ACCNX...
  4. When North Dakota State had a competitive team, I had no problem with their PPV method. It's harder to justify based on their current squad
  5. Virginia Tech weighed two guys at 133 - one who doesn't even attend Virginia Tech. In all seriousness, I guess Medina silently transferred from DII King, but he's not listed on any form of VT's roster.
  6. Is there any benefit to Vinson knowing all the Cornell wrestlers well? Maybe a little bit? you're right though - 40.5 is a lot to cover if Cornell has multiple injuries. I don't know enough about the quality of their depth
  7. Rutgers vs Virginia Tech 125: Eddie Ventresca dec Dean Peterson toss up 133: Dylan Shawver dec Connor McGonagle toss up 141: Latona vs Olivieri - toss up 149: Henson likely to bonus Clark 157: Hipolito favored over Harer 165: Church/Brady favored over White if he goes. I hope we see Barbosa 174: Wolak over Turley for a decision 184: Stewart over Soldano for a decision 197: Poz over Smith, but Sasso would beat Poz 285: I'll take Mullen over Yara I think between 157, 165, 174, 184 being likely victories and with 285, 125, 133, 141 all being toss ups, the 12.5 seems like it will be a very achievable hurdle for VT over Rutgers
  8. oh man I wasn't even joking but now I feel like an ass for asking haha. the voice sounded like it for some reason. he did an excellent job anyway.
  9. Was it my imagination or was it Chael Sonnen on the mic? Sounded like a version of him that was not going on crazy rants
  10. We obviously need to refer to Scoles as being "a pinch better" in all future matches that do not result in injury default
  11. true but since they're going to Penn State, who is to say if they can even crack the starting lineup
  12. Most likely four timer at each weight in my own opinion (with some of them being particularly unlikely): 125: Luke Lilledahl 133: Ben Davino 141: Aden Valencia 149: Kannon Webster 157: Grigor Cholakyan 165: Braeden Scoles 174: Lorenzo Norman 184: Angelo Ferrari 197: Cody Merrill 285: Jim Mullen
  13. Braunagel almost won, but got majored at the last second haha
  14. Braunagel with the opening takedown over O'Toole
  15. 17-7 in favor of Illinois. O'Toole will need to do some serious damage to get Missouri back within reach
  16. Scoles wins because Steed used all of his injury time. Scoles is TOUGH
  17. I hope Steed is okay, but it didn't look illegal at all
  18. Byrd up 3-0 with about a minute of RT after the first period. Byrd starts down in the 2nd, flaps his wings into a standing position, Moore holds on too long and gets the stall. Moore chips away at riding time (down to 33 in favor of Byrd) by concedes the escape. Byrd gets his worm with another takedown with one second left in the second. 7-0 Byrd after 2 with one stall against Moore. 3rd period starts with Moore on bottom. Byrd applies forward pressure and spiral ride, gets a bit over aggressive, and Moore slickly reverses him. Cartwheel by Byrd on bottom and he re-reverses. Then allows Moore to escape. Grabs another three for himself, shoves Moore out of bounds, and earns a stalling point. Byrd's pushing for a tech here. Goes for a low single, shelves it, gets around Moore's Funk. 17-4 with riding time. Byrd proudly goes back to his nest.
  19. Moore loves the step over which is what Ramos used to stick Byrd in the first round of NCAAs about three or four years back
  20. 13-1 win by Walker over Riley. 4-0 Mizzou after one match. Byrd circling Moore like a vulture
  21. Gage Walker with two separate tilts for back points. 11-0 Walker over Rile after the 2nd.
  22. Does it feel right that a single takedown, plus a single set of back points plus a riding time point is a major decision?
  23. I hope this becomes adopted by as many as possible going forward. especially for youth
  24. Walker dec Riley 3-0 Byrd major Moore 3-4 Edmond dec Pucino 6-4 Webster dec Gioffre 6-7 Kraisser dec Conway 6-10 Steed dec Scoles 9-10 O'Toole dec Braunagel 12-10 Ruth dec Cole 12-13 Elam dec Braunagel 15-13 Luffman dec Nitzel 15-16 ILLINI
