Cronin vs DeAugustino. We are on BTN+
Cronin has been on an absolute tear.
DeAuggie was a participant in the infamous double forfeit incident of 2023 and was subsequently pinned by Lee. Not sure where he is at right now
My predictions:
125: McKee major Lujan (0-4)
133: Foley dec Nagao (3-4)
141: Bergeland major Hamdan (3-8)
149: Blockhus dec Omania (3-11)
157: Saldate dec Lee (6-11)
165: Fish dec Sparks (8-11)
174: O'Reilly dec Garza (8-14)
184: Salazar dec Malczewski (8-17)
197: Caffey dec Foy (11-17)
285: Vasbinder dec Joles (14-17)
Sam Latona with victories over Vito Arujau, Chris Cannon, Michael Collaiocco, and Jesse Mendez
but losses to Pat Phillips (Franklin & Marshall) and Jason Shaner (solid but not the same level)
That could be true if they were starting the decision making process right now instead of along time ago (which seems more likely). Neither Teske nor Ybarra seem like full size 133s based on their appearances this year
would you mind give us a little bit more context about what choice we're being asked to make? Is it who we think would win in a folkstyle match between these guys? If so, I'm taking the top guy who seems like a bit of a "body sleeper"
I ordered an irish car bomb in dublin and it didn't go over well. they call it a "baby guinness". the bartender seem like he was going to order a hit on me, but let me go in a generous act of mercy
Like I said - I was expecting more normal starters. It is not cool to burn the fans like this. I have no idea about Beard and McGonagle. It would be a big let down if they didn't (unless they're showcasing Crookham, which I am here for)
I wish the teams would give a little bit of forward guidance for this sort of thing. Here I am gathering popcorn and budweiser to see a backup get whooped.
So far, it has been:
141: Hines (the usual starter)
149: Munch (the third string 149 lber)
157: Max Brignola (starter at 149)
165: Luca Frinzi (backup)
Luca Frinzi against Ramirez means that Lehigh is without Humphreys tonight and will probably win a total of one match tonight (after defeating Cornell just last year)
