  1. Yeah I keep forgetting about Griffith because I guess he's not yet officially in the portal, but has just floated it out there. In that case, I would force Mesenbrink to starve and rep 157.
  2. Here's a classic off-season question for you guys. What place would the team above be in the team race if they were a tournament team of their own next year? Top five? Top ten? would probably round out a starting ten like this: 125: Caleb Smith 133: Chris Cannon 141: Jordan DeCatur 149: Danny Fongaro 157: Jacob Butler 165: Mitchell Mesenbrink 174: Izzak Olejnik 184: Bernie Truax 197: Stephen Buchanan 285: Yaraslau Slavikouski
  3. Updated list below 125: Caleb Smith / Dom Lajoie 133: Chris Cannon / Garrett Grice 141: Sammy Alvarez (Stillwater-bound) / Jordan Decatur 149: Danny Fongaro / Tommy Curran / Marcos Polanco 157: Jacob Butler / Travis Mastrogiovanni 165: Mitchell Mesenbrink / Izzak Olejnik / Hunter Mayes 174: Darrien Roberts / Joey Milano / Scott Joll 184: Bernie Truax / Roman Rogotzke / Nathan Haas (Riverside-bound) / Ethan Ducca 197: Stephen Buchanan (Norman-bound) / 285: Yaraslau Slavikouski / Boone McDermott / Seth Nevills
  4. Travis Mastro feels like a fit for Rutgers. Scarlet Knights just got a commit from Conor Harer (2x state champ from PA also middle weight). This group of Clark/Kanniard/O'Neill just haven't been cutting it
  5. I think the chair looks new and clean
  6. Luke Lilledahl's father

  8. I was disappointed there wasn't an opportunity to upload attachments because I was going to provide a photo of my social security card and two items that qualify as proof of current address
  9. I don't know who this guy is that is tweeting. But there are two likes on this tweet: Mark Branch and McDade Ford.
  10. I have a feeling that Gabe Willochell could be on the move and perhaps to Wyoming
  11. Makes me think he would be more likely to go 157 right?
  12. Great list. I will also put forth for submission: Jon Trenge vs Damion Hahn 2003 (197 lbs)
  13. let me know if I'm missing anyone. here is a list of prominent and semi-relevant portal guys by weight 125: Dom Lajoie 133: Chris Cannon 141: Sammy Alvarez (Stillwater-bound) / Jordan Decatur 149: Tommy Curran 157: Jacob Butler 165: Mitchell Mesenbrink / Izzak Olejnik 174: Darrien Roberts / Joey Milano / Scott Joll 184: Bernie Truax / Roman Rogotzke / Ethan Ducca 197: Stephen Buchanan (Norman-bound) / 285: Yaraslau Slavikouski / Boone McDermott / Seth Nevills
  14. Cannon seemed like a 125/133 tweener so depends if he would be willing to drop down
  15. I have come to appreciate it very late to the game. But question for you: how did you get introduced to Greco in the first place? My feeling is that there may be pockets of the US which are more into it but I truly have no idea
  16. I wish I had been introduced to Greco more as a kid. Growing up it was folkstyle as the way we were introduced to the sport. And for those that were all year round wrestlers who were competitive at folk, they would be introduced to freestyle. Greco wasn't really ever a thought for me growing up. But my body type and wrestlikg style would have been better there than folk or free
  17. New theory: thread was started by a Princeton fan who wanted to trick us into complimenting the program
  18. Safe to assume that Marsh got the idea to go there because he was training with Quincy and Kenny will be coach?
  19. I've seen a pathetically low number of college duals live. Seen Lehigh in a dual in the 90s and when my high school team went to Virginia Duals, we watched the college guys when we could. Only college wrestling rooms I've been in were TCNJ, Lehigh, and Navy, the latter of which was a campus visit when I was a HS junior (I would have been a room guy at best)
  20. I went to camps held by Jack Cuvo and Bobby Weaver. Both were excellent in different ways. I do remember Bobby Weavers clinic helped me to really grow my wrestling. Clinics were Monday nights at parkland high school (walking distance from where I lived). He would start each clinic by saying "who lost or had trouble over the weekend with a certain move or position." And he would walk through how to counter that. He would always say "ever move has a counter and every counter had a counter"
  21. When you're a kid in the lehigh Valley, you don't even realize how good Easton would be because they have three youth programs all feeding in: Easton PAL (police athletic league), Forks Township, and Palmer Township.
