  1. Will Miller down from 174 faces off against AJ Kovacs - who starts as Matt Singleton takes a redshirt. Miller with an early takedown, but can't hold Kovacs down for very long and gives up a quick escape. 3-1 going into the second
  2. 13-6. Ed Scott wins, but Askey shows something with a late takedown and almost another.
  3. Arrington picks up the pace in the third and narrowly misses a tech fall. Major decision and four points for the Wolfpack to start the dual as we head into 157. Tommy Askey vs Ed Scott
  4. Bond gives up a reversal and a stall call in the second. 5-0 Arrington with the riding time point locked up going into the third period.
  5. quick takedown by Arrington, and some good work on top, but the 7th year senior in Bond avoids giving up any backpoints. 3-0 going into the second with Arrington on bottom
  6. starting at 149: Cody Bond vs Jackson Arrington
  7. I thought we'd see true freshman Jeremiah Price at 141, but it looks like its Kaden Keiser dropped down from 149
  8. I was supposed to be going to this dual with the fam, but it was decided my daughter couldn't miss another soccer game
  9. Is it fair to assume all of the Big Ten schools offer 9.9? Even Northwestern?
  10. This is information I have been meaning to get a better hold of - and then maintain somewhere. I hear all sorts of things about the different institutions. From hearsay: Duke and the Ivys do not give athletic scholarships per se, but tend to be quite generous on financial aid packages if you are academically qualified to attend. My understanding is that both Binghamton and Cal State Bakersfield have limited scholarship opportunities, but have very attractive tuition relative to other schools if you attend from instate. Stanford had been discussed recently here in going from 5 (?) to 9.9. I wonder if this data is tracked anywhere or if it would be a detective exercise.
  11. Maryland wins 30-7. 125 with Maida over Brown was the big upset. In an offseason interview Clemson mentioned that Brown had some issues to work through regarding weight discipline which may or may not have been a factor today.
  12. Will Jarrell has put on a ton of weight and is now a bona-fide heavy. He had a cradle locked up on Nevills which seemed to awaken the former Penn State football player from hibernation but only briefly. 6-2 by the bear is the final score.
  13. Smith by tech fall in less than two minutes
  14. Connor Bourne with a few firework type moves enroute to a normal decision over Chase Mielnik. It's Jaxson Smith and Seth Nevills next for the terps
  15. Terp team captain Dom Solis vs redshirt sophomore and funkmaster Lucas White. 10-6 in favor of Solis in a fun match
  16. Is that Yao Ming at center? Edit: I mean 285
  17. John Martin-Most-Medium gets a major over Phifer, a relative unknown for American
  18. True freshman Milheim from American showed potential but is not strong enough yet to hold off Michael North.
  19. 149: Ethen Miller, the older of the KC kids earns a major over Ryan Zimmerman, who must be 6 feet tall. Zimmerman was an awkward opponent due to his length.
  20. 141: Konkrete Kid Ethan Szerencits dismantled by Kal Miller the Kansas City kid.
  21. 125: Jack Maida major decision over Braxton Brown. Maida dropped down from 133 where he was a NQ last year. 133: Max Leete, reportedly on redshirt, is apparently not, because he wrestled tonight up at 133 and took a close loss to King Sandoval of Maryland. Leete used his physical strength as an advantage last year at 125, but looked smaller than Sandoval.
  22. First it was max back points going from 3 to 4 and then takedowns going from 2 to 3. if they keep it up, the Fed will need to hike interest rates again to keep the point inflation under control
