  1. I think ref availability is a major problem and I haven't done my part so shame on me. But I think there is a quality control issue that needs addressing even in spite of the lack of availability. It's not an easy solution, but it needs to be addressed
  2. If anyone caught Citadel vs Bellarmine - 125 had a far more egregious call in that match than even in the Kilkeary-Davis match. In rideouts, Damion Ryan starts on bottom, with about eight seconds left, he reverses into Malik Hardy and puts him in an exposure position for a full 7-8 seconds while Hardy holds onto a leg. Correct call should be a reversal given after the first three seconds of exposure, and then four swipes for back points. The ref didn't even award an escape. It was challenged with great displeasure from Bellarmine staff - who were rightfully outraged. They reviewed it and upheld the call. I immediately turned off the dual. @coachhardy - what was up with that!? any explanation given?

  4. WIN and WrestleStat have updated their rankings for the new week - one Intermat an Flo do, I'll update and share the new ranks. In the meantime, I noticed that both WrestleStat and WIN have Jarrett Trombley as the starter. Do we have any NC State fans that are aware of any situation with Camacho as to why he wouldn't be starting?
  5. The system as it stands will reward Beau Bartlett for ducking the match vs Woods which is a shame. Bartlett undefeated and Mendez and Woods each with a loss - means that Bartlett should get 1 seed and the 2/3 between the other two guys. This then plays into their national seeding and so on. I hope Bartlett wrestles and will gain respect for him by putting himself out there when strategically he wouldn't need to.
  6. I was wondering if TalShahar would enter the portal after this season himself considering he is on pace to earn his degree this spring
  7. I didn't cry but it was nice to see them sing it together
  8. Brother I think you can give them back the A in their name now after getting a couple Big Ten dual victories. Indiana
  9. Last year we saw Mason Ding vs Peter Ding in the first ever Ming-Ding match sponsored by Ring-Dings We also had Tinker vs Taylor but are still waiting on Soldier vs Spy.
  10. I think that they are assuming he will stay on redshirt - some places are funny about that - until you actually lift it.
  11. Pat Downey
  12. Obviously something is up with Figueroa - injury or something else. What sucks is that last year you have two guys that are legit AA quality and you have to choose between them. And this year, you have one and he's just not wrestling like he usually does.
  13. Lucas Byrd
  14. Nice win by Seymour
  15. He did, but he had a wide lead for second place (which has since gotten a bit smaller)
  16. Peterson needed to do something a lot earlier
  17. That Soldano vs Rogotzke match was so much fun. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out
  18. No I don't think so. Too late to edit now but is say Jamison over Edmonds by decision and them maybe Alvarez over Gioffre by decision
  19. we support the sport - and flo is not entirely evil - but they do just enough to piss you off and encourage you to support any other competitor. couple of their staff seem to be competent, but pyles is not one of them and takes up a lot of their bandwidth unfortunately I would love to reward flo with my annual subscription if I can hear some encouraging words from others on improvements in array of D1 college wrestling offerings (they have world team stuff, and high school stuff, which I care less about and don't wish to pay for) and reliability in streams. they seem to be losing market share in college wrestling
  20. ***duck**, this time it was spelling "maj decision" instead of just plain regular old decision
  21. I don't have Flo but will look forward to the updates and replays.
