  1. Utah Valley and Northern Colorado maybe?
  2. Mostly the poor and lower middle class
  3. State lotteries are a major revenue source for certain states. I remember researching this at one point and I believe Ohio had a very high share of state revenue stemming from lotteries. But there are many others. Edit: it may have been Ohio in the past, but I just checked and the three states with highest revenue % from lotteries are Rhode Island, West Virginia, and South Dakota. Each derives 3% of their state revenue from lottery.
  4. Iowa, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, and Nebraska
  5. I am curious too. Many others are as well. Would be cool if a wrestling media member could get Stewart in a podcast to share a status update
  6. 125: Vincent Robinson vs Eddie Ventresca 133: Ryan Crookham vs Lucas Byrd 141: Brock Hardy vs Luke Stanich 149: Caleb Henson vs Shayne Van Ness 157: Antrell Taylor vs Jackson Arrington 165: Mikey Caliendo vs Joey Blaze 174: Beau Mantanona vs Brock Mantanona (intrasquad scrimmage among brothers at the all star! come on!) 184: Rocco Walsh vs Zach Ryder 197: Yonger Bastida vs Braxton Amos
  7. Could it be a way to maximize their eligibility due to the constraints of Ivy League?
  8. I think yes - I was trying to see which team would be the best fit, but its hard. Arizona State?
  9. Kade Orr is back from two years off and transferred from Kent State to Northern Colorado
  10. Donald Cates is back after two years away from wrestling and is expected to start 20 lbs heavier than his last weight class.
  11. Couple of late movers: Mahkyi Smith from Utah Valley to Adams State Cade Gilbert from Little Rock to Central Oklahoma
  12. I think the PAC did not take Cal Baptist before because they require conference schools to have no religious affiliation. Don't quote me on that
  13. The team chef insisted on cabbage, beans and broccoli for all.
  14. I'm more of a fan than a media member, but your sentiments are very kind
  15. This is all for fun, so we can make any rules we want. I had only chosen active wrestlers to make my list more easily searchable
  16. I tried to stick to D1 only, so it was hard to use specific names for NOI or even the Quran, so I tried to build out on first names that could broadly fit into a category of a broadly Islamic name based on common origin of the name. 125: Sulayman Bah, Columbia 133: Omar Ayoub, Nebraska 141: Ismael Ayoub, Kent State 149: Marwan Mohammed Nazeer, Morgan State 157: Ibrahim Khan, Rider 165: Ousmane Duncanson, Lock Haven 174: Bekruz Sadriddinov, Lehigh 184: Zahir Mclean-Felix, Cornell 197: Ibrahim Ameer, Drexel 285: Dzhabrail Khurshidov, Michigan I could have added Elijah Griffin and Louis Cerchio if we were trying to emphasize names from Nation of Islam, but did not include since I didn't have any indication that Griffin or Cerchio were named with this in mind.
  17. This thread wasn't meant to be a political statement. We can totally do that list, but it will be slightly more difficult.
