if he's found guilty of assault, it could have dramatic impact on his career prospects outside of wrestling. firms that run background checks and turn up "assault and battery" don't tend to look upon it very kindly. It's also why I think the courts should apply grace and common sense to this one (although that's not what courts are known for)

Someone sent me a note today letting me know they found 300 dollar tickets for the final session, but they're up in the rafters. Massoma Endene who had temporarily transferred to Wisconsin before returning back to Wartburg is also going for his third title at 197. Hunter Mays who went from Rider to Lehigh to TCNJ has qualified for Nationals at 174 also in D3

D2 Gannon has quite a few transfers from D1 so I was following them a bit: 125: Logan Sallot who spent his redshirt year at Lock Haven, has qualified for nationals (lost in sudden victory in his regional final, but won his first two matches) 149: 4th year college wrestler (freshman year at Army West Point) Kenny Kiser is a first time starter for Gannon and has qualified for nationals after getting into the finals and medically forfeiting that match. 174: Patrick Jackson who spent his redshirt year at Lock Haven won regionals and qualified for nationals 285: Dorian Crosby looks like he won his region and will be headed to nationals as expected. He was a R16 guy in D1 last year.

Ethan Stiles shouldn't be a dark horse, but you don't see him mentioned many places. He's had an incredible year especially down at 149.

Opening this thread, I was hopefully thinking that it was only the blog that was gone and not the actual man. always enjoyed interacting with him. His comics and attitude helped create a laid back and fun environment here. Jombo was a hilarious way to start Sunday mornings. He will be missed and his impact will not be quickly forgotten.

Funny you mention it - maybe everyone really is for him. No one was ever against him to begin with aside from the opposing team from the match most likely.

Also at 133 which only has four at large spots: three allocations at 133 in the ACC for Connor McGonagle, Tyler Knox, and Ethan Oakley. On the outside looking in is two time all american and three time qualifier Kai Orine.

EIWA 133 with only one allocation and a few factors in play: Crookham may or may not wrestle. If he does, he would likely get that single allocation, stealing it from Ethan Berginc. Surprisingly Kurt Phipps did not earn an allocation and will have to win the tournament or hope for an at large. And separately you have Ohio State transfer Braxton Appello at Sacred Heart who is 10-2, as well as two former NQs in Micah Roes and Brendan Ferretti.
