  1. I knew another Ragusin rematch would be the worst matchup possible for Shawver, but it doesn't make me any less despondent to see it go down like this...
  2. Damn. I really wanted the 3rd place warrior to run it back one more time...
  3. Davis out in blood round - calling it.
  4. They are taking precautionary measures to make sure they get them out of the way before AB launches into one of his famous sermons. Don't wanna miss those.
  5. What's been up with him??? I guess I did not follow closely enough - saw he moved up a weight and had taken some lumps. Still picked him for a low AA finish. I'm curious now though what the full story is.
  6. Rutgers's first round is sitting pretty nicely with me right now.
  7. IOWA STYLE isn't going out of style any time soon, bud. Get used to it.
  8. So much for my feel-good story for the tournament this year. Had Conigliaro AA'ing when I didn't see many thinking so... *throws out 174 bracket*
  9. *throws 125 bracket into the trash*
  10. Stuck in office, ESPN blocked from work computer, phone is still buffering from purchasing ELO tickets from before... Looks like it's up to y'all to keep me updated.
  11. I want to know who missed weight already.
  12. Coach in high school used to quote this moment any time someone would make a brash decision that contradicted what he was telling us to do in a match. I will never forgive Molinaro for this choice.
  13. My vote for OW goes to you, Jimmy.
  14. 1. Brooks - 95% 2. Keckeisen - 85% 3. O'Toole - 80% 4. Kerklivet - 70% 5. Haines - 69% 6. Mendez - 50% 7. Lovett - 45% 8. Lewis - 10% 9. Davis - 5% 10. Fix - 2% I just feel like Fix is destined to not have an NCAA title at this point.
  15. As long as it's what God intended for them, then I am ok with this.
  16. Keckeisen is the one guy I need to absolutely see win a title. Dude has had it rough being behind Pastor Brooks for his entire career up to this point.
  17. Bastida semi slides to a 6th place finish - we get a rather uninteresting Kerk/Wyatt final. God continues to laugh at the plan he set in motion for Penn State.
  18. I am calling now that winner of Ungar/Peterson takes out Davis in the second round.
  19. Or they both put on a stalling clinic for the ages the entire match.
  20. 125: Davis vs. Stanich McKee vs. Anyone on the backside 133: Shawver vs. Vito 141: Echemendia vs. Woods rematch 165: Mesenbrink vs. Carr 174: Injured Griffith vs. Injured Stall Rock 184: Rogotzke vs. anyone who wants to roll around with him. Didn't notice Foca was up to 184 - I am curious to see how he does up here. Plott vs. Salazar 197: Glazier vs. anyone in the top 8 that isn't Brooks, honestly. 285: Kerklivet vs. Schultz Kerklivet vs. Bastida Pitzer vs. Schultz rematch
  21. Kerklivet is the surefire choice to win it. I see Yonger semi sliding the hardest out of anyone in the entire tournament that weekend.
  22. Yeah people tend to forget that Schultz is ***ducking** MASSIVE and that can be a problem for plenty of guys. Hell, I imagine Steveson felt the weight of picking him up to be overbearing after a while. That being said, I am glad this tactic has seemingly caught up to him at the tail end of his career. I have always found his run to 2nd place a few years ago to be such a head scratcher in the new age of Hwt wrestling...
  23. But who will be the Judas to the Aaron Brooks story? Hmm, I wonder now...
  24. If our success on the mat was really all determined as a part of God's bigger plan, then I really got the short end of that deal.
