  1. Lee/Franek going into OT.
  2. NDSU Franek up 1-0 to start the 3rd period, Lee escapes to tie it 1-1 with 1:30 left in the 3rd
  3. Filling the earlier gap... McKee wins relatively easily at 125, overpowering Negrete, a California kid who looks an awful lot like the kid from "Win Win" (a movie I highly recommend.) Bonus: Negrete a hard elbow attempt that missed the mark. As an announcer followed up with "this isn't figure skating." At 133, Nagao wrestled a controlled 4-2 match. No fireworks to speak of. No elbows either. At 141 Jake Bergeland vs DD. FC had it right, Jake he shook off some rust and looked much better against a tough opponent. (I believe there was riding time ) At 149 Blockhus wins a 2-1 match. Not as exciting as I had anticipated, but with the dual in hand it isn't a big surprise either. Last match - this is it - #4 Brayton Lee vs #7 Jared Franek
  4. Yes! MN's Jake Bergeland vs NDSU's & Osseo/Champlin's very own Dylan Droegemueller.
  5. Good news is that Joles didn't fade. Wrestled strong to the end. Mora was bigger, but as FC said, not a very big Hwt. With RT point, I 'think' the final was Joles 6-2. The dual gets interesting NOW... after the break, last (5) matches from 125-157, should be good ones. If you haven't jointed the stream, it's not too late. As mentioned it's at gobison.com, $7 for the match (technically 24-hour pass) I'd be the last half will be more than worth it.
  6. Squeaker. Pentz pulls out the win just when Foy looked to have taken control. Joles up at Hwt again. Another interesting matchup with potential - especially as we get deeper into the later periods.
  7. gobison.com stream is smooth... announcers aren't too bad either. $7 well spent IMO. This Pentz vs Foy match has serious potential.
  8. Not a small thing... It is reassuring that even the very best of us make mistakes.
  9. Honesty = happiness, rest is bullshit
  10. Symbol, but who is counting.
  11. Yes, dear = shitload of divorces
  12. Some comedy until wrestling resumes
  13. No doubt, everybody needs a good man named Shirely.
  14. Keyes Nelson in the 1st.
  15. Well you no hockey always a coupla guys who fight reel hard but dont score sum guys work hard always tryin a score but these guys and I meen these guys they can deke an fight reel hard they get at er not like some slack score queens who get the dainties
  16. The familiar panteater back again.
  17. Very little about fighting has much to do with dignity. As my dad always said - fighting is for cats, dogs, and a**holes. He was right, but I tried it anyway. You're talking about a gray area... guys who are aren't good vs guys who are less good. That's hardly worth trying to sort out. At the end of the day, same thing for all of them. They help better guys move forward as they get beat. Sometimes strategically, sometimes for stats. We mostly like winners. Nobody cares much about the losers. Zero glory there. But there are a lot more of the latter than the former.
  18. Pronouns easier than this game
  19. Nah, just took me two tries. Nailed it.
  20. You are quite welcome, sir. (The rest of them, I threw in free - no charge!)
  21. He lost. ... unless some group gives him the money and lawyers so he can stomp around like a spoiled child claiming he was cheated, and the election was stolen and other ridiculous nonsense. Then we'd watch as our democratic electoral process is dragged through sewage by lawyers because massive, unbalanced wealth makes it possible. (Which is hard to believe is even possible in a modern civilized country - yet proof is readily available.) We should be able to get along just fine. One less unqualified dope in Congress is good for all of us. He lost, we all get over it, we move on.
  22. What the heck is pronoun?
  23. Agree with @mspart, there are always going to be guys with losing records who aren't great but can make money helping bring along a green fighter. Nothing wrong with that. Everybody can't have a winning record. But 3-21? That guy needs a career change, pronto.
