  1. Back to this: I would consider 3rd place a contender. Furthermore, I can certainly see MM beating Carr if he sees Carr in the semis. 1. MM has similar international accolades 2. MM has better practice partners 3. MM has Cael 4. MM can learn from his bff KOT on what to expect from Carr Carr is the favorite, but I am not the least bit surprised if MM pulls it off.
  2. Even Askren likes the guy!
  3. Yes, Cael looked extremely grateful when he threw a chair at an official.
  4. Might be tough to produce since it likely disappeared with the old forum. You knew where you stood. No one ever said anything about Cael playing favorites, but maybe PSU is stronger with Messenbrink at 165. Maybe they want him to grow? Who knows?
  5. Yes. You were talking "national team in high school" before the first Ferrari loss. Just like "Messenbrink only beat Haines... because freestyle." Now you have MM as a contender. Sealey may well end up better than Ferrari in college, but he's lost some of that shine.
  6. Certain people on this board ate this James Green quote up: " “I feel like Joe Sealey could make the national team at the senior level. The kid has lot of talent. He has heavy hands. He’s got an extreme, hard pace. It’s not the same in a two-minute span so that might get him a little bit trying to wear someone down within four minutes. If he gets his hands on you he’s going to make you feel him and he’s going to make you regret it. He’s got a great style and a great feel. I think he’ll be making a lot of people tired. They’ll need some help up off the mat.” Now the same people are saying "the top 10 at 165 would eat Ferrari's lunch." Make up your mind. Stand up!
  7. You've changed your tune after two Ferrari losses!
  8. A year and a half ago, the PSU fanboys were talking about how Sealey would contend for high all-American finished after his sophomore year. In fact, they were talking about how James Green said he would be competitive at the senior level at 16. (Remember this LeDuke?) Things have certainly cooled off after two Ferrari losses and some weird, weird transfers.
  9. Yeah, I know what mobility is, notice I said "limber." Check the jerk's instagram. He's fairly "mobile."
  10. That guy is a bodybuilder? There have been many many good/great MLB players more muscular than him. (Starting with Barry Bonds). If muscles made you bad at baseball, why were so many MLB players involved with PEDs?
  11. This is all true, but beating Cael was not what was notable at the time, What people were talking about was how the College kid (Cael) gave the world champ (Gutches) a good match.
  12. Him, Randy Lewis, Morris Johnson, Ray Brinzer, etc.
  13. They did. They were committed to/training in Iowa; and he was still fighting the case, with no guarantees.
  14. Easy to do now; the focus is on other global issues. Russia was always going to get back in. $$$
  15. The world forgot about the war in Ukraine...
  16. Actually, he is very very limber and flexible. He's just a predatory jerk who never learned to throw.
  17. How about their brothers "Dash" and " Brawl?" https://mustangnews.net/a-legacy-of-lamers-how-three-brothers-are-making-their-mark-on-cal-poly-wrestling/
  18. Playing tag with the floor should be more than a stall. Probably an "unsportsmanlike conduct"
  19. Who confirmed Cass isn't wrestling? (and there are still appeals) I don't think Fix should be lower than 3, but I also don't think Camacho should be lower than 1. Also fix moved from 2 to 3 because of Vito loss. Fix did not drop due to inactivity. Will he drop when he doesn't wrestled Crookham this weekend. Some guys drop when they don't wrestled, other guys don't. Again... inconsistent. (Hendrickson has run more pass routes on Flo than he has won watches) And I am not a Flo basher.
  20. And I agree with what you say, but it still looks somewhat inconsistent. Still, Fix backed out late and Hendrickson has wrestled exactly as many matches as Anthony Cassioppi (multiple time all-American.)
  21. Multiple wrestlers did not wrestle this weekend and stayed the same in the rankings. My favorite heavyweight, Wyatt Hendrickson hasn't wrestled a match all year and is still ranked #2, for instance. Fix. Vito. Latona. Cannon.
