  1. You usually don't need another point if u turn the guy. Taylor is on the short list of guys who turned almost everyone. 4 backpoints is a lot to overcome by cutting someone and taking them down (like micic vs gross in the finals) No need to change the rules for that imo but maybe instead hit top guys for stalling or dont hit bottom guys for stalling when they are trying get out. Remember how many times desanto was hit for stalling on bottom in his blood round loss?
  2. Glory will major Lee.
  3. Will we get Glory-Vito this weekend? I hope so
  4. Glory used Rivera as an example of someone who learned to get out on bottom against Lee.
  5. haha at mckee
  6. Obviously he would need to put him on his back to do that (probably needs to put him on his back to win, period). Glory said he's been working to counter Lee's top game for years, so I think he will be ready.
  7. Who? Killian Cardinale? Even though he's lost a few times recently, I think Barnett would be his hardest matchup.
  8. wasn't RBY called for stalling twice on top against Fix?
  9. Refs called grabbing the headgear tonight in the 133 Rutgers - MSU match.
  10. Aragona not wrestling at all, right? they had some bad luck too - like Glasgow instead of Lewis, similar value out of HS. Glory wanted an Ivy league school. I assume Griffith wanted a school of that caliber as well.
  11. Dean Peterson was #1? Ahead of say, Figueroa? Also Peterson was Princeton originally and I won't go into details, but I heard the team didn't want him and that caused him to flip.
  12. picking bottom was a mistake in this match
  13. lot of stalling
  14. Kaylor dropped to 19? Didn't realize. Glory will have a hard match tomorrow against ASU. Lee has Mckee, Mastrogiavanni, Barrnett and Cronin coming up.
  15. So if you take that away, you can give him the takedown before where the announcers though he had his toes in bounds and same score.
  16. He looked good. Cuts less and is smaller than Glory so that probably matters less in his case. Glory obviously got his weight under control to wrestle in a dual and control a returning AA. Did you see that Glory said he's been training for years for Lee's top game? If he gets right out on bottom it comes down to takedowns. Plus he has ridden Lee before. Lee's top game stopped working with Rivera and he lost to him the last 2 times they wrestled as a result.
  17. Glory dominated and only 1 hour after making weight. A finals match with spencer lee will be way more recovery time. I could see Glory majoring him, with Lee getting frustrated and trying big moves only to get countered.
  18. Also said stuff about dake coming to nlrtc
  19. Instructionals, I believe I have the most.
  20. Glory can but hasn't been having a dominant season so far himself. Probably because of the weight cut. Lee has a good schedule left if he keeps doing duals - deaugostino, mckee, barnett, mastrogiavann, cronin.
  21. Dake beat him in freestyle before the all star right? And then taylor commented that maybe he'd drop down for the rematch and dake was like I'll go up. I felt comfortable at 165
  22. ???? 11th grade tech by Lee. 12th grade desanto squeaks by at buzzer and Lee gets knee surgery right after
  23. Is Lee going to get his one knee operated on again? He moves awkwardly, I don't see him being ready for the international scene like that. Lucky for him that he's stronger than all the other college kids and controls them on top. In freestyle he'd have to be on his feet more and I don't see it going well. He's not guaranteed to win this year, that's for sure.
  24. I think he knows he's the one to beat lee in dramatic fashion (like Caldwell over Metcalf) and yeah, no one wants to weight in light for important evens becase of weight loss rules. I think he would have won 133 here but would have sort of been giving up on being a 125 pounder.
  25. Glory at 133 as well as Ryan Crookham.
