  1. A great thing about Ryan is that he isn't afraid to speak his mind and advocate for his wrestlers every single step of the way. Even if he is wrong, he isn't wrong because that is what you do. You defend yours. Fortunately, they have a great staff and he has probably one of the best support networks on the planet that is capable of said support.
  2. First Snyder left for NLWC, then Kerkvliet, then Sasso, then this.
  3. I suggest Chamizo not let the match be close, next time. That will take the refs out of it. That said, when Chamizo was on the right side of 30, he scraped by him at the 2020(1) Olympics, so I doubt he can't not do that.
  4. Already covered this... one or two guys just don't have the testicular fortitude to handle tough wrestling.
  5. ASU has a waiver to go from HWT to HWT to age up to 35.
  6. This... A pretty even blend of all three, even if the middle one is what folks want to emphasize.
  7. To be clear, I am not saying Ochir is better than Zain - Zain has a Worlds Gold. I am saying Sujeet Sujeet might be better. He has an extremely high ceiling, but is similarly inconsistent to Johnny D. It really depends on which one shows up.
  8. I think Lee has more roadblocks at 57 KG than 65 KG. Zain has one true roadblock, providing he doesn't get a beast off the scale, he will be fine. He will only have to weigh in once if he makes the finals (I don't think they wrestle the finals). Lee on the other hand has a net tonne of landmines he will have to navigate. Luckily I don't think he cuts much (any) weight to make 57 KG, so he won't have to worry off the scale like Gilman would have. I also think his skill advantage against everyone in the field will be evident early in matches. I just hope he can put them away and not trust his tank. Tilts should work better for points against the international folks, so we'll see. I am more confident in Retherford due to him being the 2nd best in the field, at worst. Lee might be the best, but he has many more landmines to navigate.
  9. I am pretty ***ducking** stoked for this one.
  10. Locket won U17 71 KG worlds last year. Hit list is everyone else on the planet U17 (last year) and under 71 KG.
  11. You're right. A takedown is worth three in Folkstyle, and the passivites would have amounted to stall calls, so... worse.
  12. He knew from when he was back at Iowa, unfortunately. He said as much himself.
  13. Facundo just steamrolled Haines with what looked like relative ease (by Facundo standards) at OTTs. Haines couldn't even score a point.
  14. Add in that he has the Andonian mentality: He isn't afraid to score points. Pretty stoked to see him in the lineup next year (assuming Amine goes 174).
  15. Ah shit, that is my bad. Hopke should probably be the favorite at 125 KG. His Freestyle credentials are unmatched in that field.
  16. Mantanona at 74 KG and Hopke at 125 KG.

  18. Flo has an exclusive contract with USAW, I believe.
  19. That isn't being ironic. It's called being a classless cunt, so good on you for being the worst you possibly could be. There are those who actually trained during those times and hold parts dear and near to their hearts for those he effected on these forums, myself included.
  20. I am rather stoked for this... It means Sparty cannot be the bottom of the barrel. Their floor is higher now.
  21. He didn't get 1, though. He didn't get any against Facundo - at all. You're a ***ducking** dumb shit for trying to bring anything in regards to du Pont in to any argument. Holy ***ducking** shit you dumb mother***duck**er.
  22. They just passed new Grad Transfer rules that states that they are immediately eligible, too. That might make the portal that much more interesting being that they already don't have to adhere to the portal windows that non-Grad transfers do.
  23. PJ is registered for U20s this week at 70 KG. As is Webster of Illinois, Michigan recruit Cooper Hilton, Aiden Davis (Braeden's cousin(?)), Dylan Gilcher (Michigan), and a slew of others. We'll see his mettle tested.
  24. McEnelly is registered for U20s at 86 KG this week, FYI. So is a slew of other Redshirts, Mizzou's frosh recruit Sinclair, and a slew of other top notch gents.
