  1. Sleeper in that bracket is Luffman.
  2. Looks like Blades got the 2 seed and will see Grote then Makoyed. The way the seeds played out were as interesting as I could have hoped for. I should see Blades and Welker VS Guilford and Makoyed. I have been wanting to see it since Blades and Welker were clearly ahead of them two seasons ago but Guilford and Makoyed have been putting in nonstop work the last year or so.
  3. Adam Coon - Rulon Gardner in the QF (potentially). Haven't seen either competitively compete on a while.
  4. I think out the gate he will be right there in the 4-7 range with Slavikouski, Luffman, and Nevills by the end of the season.
  5. For anybody going for WTT at 61, 92, and 125 Top 7 is all that is required. Meaning that guys at 57, 86, 97, etc could also place up to 7th and go at a WTT weight as well.
  6. I also think guys will play the 'Top 7' line and default out after that or just default out if they lose. Lee, Suriano, Cox, Starocci all come to mind as those who I would not he surprised.
  7. Seeds hold... (and no defaulting out)... 57 KG 1st - Lee 2nd - Glory 3rd - Suriano 61 KG 1st - Desanto 2nd - Arujau 3rd - Tomasello 65 KG 1st - Lee 2nd - McKenna 3rd - Lovett 70 KG 1st - Pantaleo 2nd - Hidlay 3rd - Sasso 74 KG 1st - Nolf 2nd - Joseph 3rd - O'Toole 79 KG 1st - Dieringer 2nd - Marinelli 3rd - Marstellar 86 KG 1st - Valencia 2nd - Hall 3rd - Brooks 92 KG 1st - Moore 2nd - Macchiavello 3rd - Jackson 97 KG 1st - Cox 2nd - Dudley 3rd - Kueter 125 KG 1st - Parris 2nd - Bradley 3rd - Steveson
  8. Not sure why Parris is behind Bradley since he is 2-0 against him in three years?
  9. Old news, Bronco.
  10. I don't think anybody should be.
  11. I think 174 is too low for him and it showed with last season's fatigue and injury problems. He is much better than Maylor and lost the spot to him.
  12. Long story short: Bono is a cunt. Short story long: Bono is a cunt.
  13. NIL also helps Michigan, too. I don't think he beats Walker anyways. Two years on a campus can change one's perspective, though. One thing to consider is that Dow, who wad also competing for the 174/184 spot is out too.
  14. An Oregonian. Any input on this, @Idaho? One would think Oregon State, Cal Poly, or Michigan would be prime candidates due to Oregon ties.
  15. Two things: A - The guy wasn't cutting much to make 157. In fact he said regularly that he weighed under 165 day after competition dates so it made very little sense to go 165 for Folkstyle. He has hollow bones and is just very disciplined. He isn't too big and he is plenty capable of beating the best. He was dismantling Pantaleo last time they wrestled before Pantaleo InjDef. JO was just a poor matchup for him. B - It has been well known and established that he has been locked away in someone's (Shane Sparks) basement in a preservation effort towards posterity.
  16. He's a little guy, man. When he heard his bro banging the one Focus' GF through the this bed-sheet walls he probably got scared out of wrestling.
  17. Ramos was 125 behind Schroder for Purdue and only went 133 because he got a free 'rona year - and honestly speaking Ramos must have respected the hell out of him because he was better. Even after competing at 133 NCAAs in 2022 he went 57 KG a few weeks later. He left Minny because he didn't want to sit behind McKee until after next season and he didn't want to have to compete at 133 for at least three seasons.
  18. Even so. The term is used by more than just me. The flobros use it all the thyme.
  19. Today is the deadline for early registration to be seeded, I believe? Can still register up to the night before your competition day is.
  20. See above from Mr. Parrish. Also check this out...
  21. I guess he wasn't joking...
  22. Defect by definition... Karugliev favored Greece over Russia because he could wrestle.
