Is Cody Chittum the favorite next year at 157?

I don't think it is an overreaction. Did not one of the Focus brothers drive by a former teammates house repeatedly after threatening to shoot him? Genuine life well-being is not an overreaction. You need to just stop.

Yes. The younger brother. I would love to see Derek at UofM as a Grad Transfer for his senior season. Him at 165 and Amine at 174. Which is also the reason I want to see Amine at 174 this coming season (on top of him putting a whooping on Stalrocci).

Giggled? I laughed so hard I sharted in a conference call with some rather high up UK gvmnt officials.

The correlation I hate using, but seems apt save for one or two things is Peyton Omania of Michigan State. Omania isn't nearly as athletic or good at the fundamentals of Greco nor Folkstyle as Joel Adams. He does have hips like Demas, though, which always gave him a puncher's chance. Adams isn't going to need a puncher's chance with the coaching staff and resources at UofM. There are several high schools in their area with better rooms than Michigan State FTSOF.

I don't think he can go 149. This said, a depleted version of him is much better than Mayora (all due respects). Mayora could contend for a MAC title in 2025 or 2026. He'll never contend in the B1G. I would prefer Kim up at 149 and he would be drastically undersized. Also, Michigan has two prospects that are 2-3 years younger in Mantanona and Gilcher coming in with another (slightly smaller) Mantanona comping in the following year. Add in that Joel Adams will be a factor in a year (or two depending on how he manages Oly-shirt and Redshirt and Gap year stuffs), and I don't know if Chittum would even have a seat at the table. We have seen consistent improvement from the Mantanonas and Gilcher and Adams and they are younger. Chittum seems to have plateaued off after he bumped up from 145 to 160 and beat Valencia. I do wish him the best. Nobody deserves the toxic effect that is the Focus family. That said, this is his second college he committed to without wrestling a minute, proper, in their singlet(s). Perhaps it isn't just the Iowa or Minnesota cultures and his personal code isn't of a well enough standard to succeed at the D1 level, which is fine - let him focus Freestyle and wrestle for CKWC.

Sorry, Bud. I did want to see what Chittum could do at 157 for your squad. Hopefully the part on him leaving is incorrect. For morale purposes, your squad is better off without the Focus family.

Siebrecht is better. Younger, too.

Being as 52 of those 50 tweets have been deleted, I challenge you to prove it...

He has spent a lot of time with Pantaleo. Pantaleo speaks very highly of him.

VV is a great get for Iowa. Pretty stoked to see his potential there. Interesting with all the Focus drama at OSU and another OSU kid going from OSU to Iowa. Bags or was the Focus drama latgely exaggerated or finger pointing in the wrong direction? Meaning: Was Mastro the Turdbiscuit that was in the wrong for banging Focus's GF or sister or whoever TF it was?

At 125 KG? Because there is an actual procedure, he would have been asked after Dom. Parris was not on the National Team last year. Dom was. Would I have preferred to see Parris? Yes. Do I understand he had a chance to earn the chance to go and chose not to attempt it? Also yes.

Okay. Who did you want to go instead of who we sent? To be clear, all we had to do to qualify for Worlds was weigh in at each weight. Also keep in mind that this was an extremely fast turnaround for the gents not sitting out to Final X already. Legit next morning on a flight out to an entirely different continent.

Agreed. In actuality until not very long ago we weren't allowed to send 'professionals' to events like these. It was why we would send college stars for basketball, baseball, etc.

I know. A shame.

To be clear, I am not deviating from the initial notion. The 'C' word just isn't accepted as politically correct in these parts. A bit vulgar for the small ears - I get it. The OP guy has a twisted mentality of success with an obviously biased grudge and no care towards the actual success of USA Wrestling insofar as results given. 9 golds and one bronze. I should have called him a mushy turdbiscuit. I will grow from this.

I was reading it and was like... man... JC forgot to logout of his other account before he posted this... then I read further along... Wild 0.7 seconds for me, I tell you hwut.

Been established. I apologize.

PSU isn't necessarily more strict. They created a job (or jobs?) to handle the NIL portion for the athletes, meaning if someone wanted to throw NIL moneys at someone they also have to go through that department. It makes it so they can ensure they are complying to the NCAA rules and regulations of them. In actuality it appears that while it may be a more strict approach to getting NIL, it is more efficient for them. Those were my interpretations of why they might seem more strict.

I thought more Oklahoma gents would enter... funny that they wouldn't have been allowed to if they tried - so I am curious about that.
-
I am also curious if Guilford and/or Welker might make the decent to 68 KG. They aren't as lean as Blades or as big as Elor or Makoyed.
-
Fair enough. In my defense I have been in Connecticut the last month or so working with a slew of Rolls-Royce gents and they use that word like we do grease in a fryer. Can I use the term 'turdbiscuit' or 'buttmunch' yet? Grandkiddos are using it a lot. It sounds fun.
