  1. He can obviously wrestle when he wants to but he is such a chump with all the arm waving, the wrestling from the knees, and the making the opponent and ref wait until he decides when to restart that you can't like him. There are other reasons, but his personality is so not good.
  2. Could be a grain of truth here since neither Volk or Novak wrestled.
  3. Doesn't seem to exist vs PSU this year.
  4. Post Intermission 165 Messenbrink by 15-0 in 3:17 174 Haines by FALL in 2:25 (11-0 at time of fall) 184 Starocci by FALL in 1:38 (11-0 at time of fall) 197 Barr by FALL in 1:48 (16-2 at time of fall) Hwt Kerkvliet 20-3 in 3:28. Final dual meet score 54-0.
  5. Even if closer, barring penalty points the two team scores must equal at least 30 points.
  6. I will argue with the 18-9 final score. Seems un possible.
  7. 125 Lilledahl wins 20-5 in 4:23 (Jore Volk did not wrestle) 133 Davis wins 18-3 in 6:27 Bartlett by FALL in 0:43 Van Ness by Fall in 4:26 (15-5 score at time of fall) Kasak wins 16-3 over 19th ranked Jared Hill
  8. You should know that when you throw it slow and straight it gets hit out of the ballpark!
  9. Maybe Penn State.
  10. I semi feel as if the match will mirror their freestyle match, so a win for Haines.
  11. Can a 1 cartilage Feldman beat a 2 cartilage Kerk?
  12. With the 3 point TD Brooks may have/would have been able to TF Beard last year.
  13. I understand the sentiment. I just think that highly of Haines folkstyle.
  14. Van Ness looks better than he ever has looked. I would make him a significant favorite over Parco. As good as O Toole is, Haines beat him 6-0 in free and knowing Haines abilities in folk I make him a solid favorite even over O Toole.
  15. Davis now has 5 losses over 2 seasons but only 1 of those Ls was he not in the match. Twice now he was one TD short vs the #1 ranked wrester (Figs last year at 125, Crookham this year). I think he starts to look better going forward. Lilledahl is a true fr. with as much accolades as anyone. I don't think it even takes until March to see him light some guys up.
  16. 144 last year? Whoa. He didn't look thick at 157.
  17. I predicted Beard would win, but Barr came at him like a dog on a bone. I read some comments that Penn State looked not too sharp or energetic or whatever. I didn't see it like that. I thought the Lehigh wrestlers showed some toughness. That Rozinsky at 157 looked like a pretty good wrestler to me. He's gonna AA at some point, and maybe sooner rather than later. Loved Haines and Barr pulling in the leg and beating tough sprawls when the other wrestler looked in better position. Those guys are strong.
  18. OK. I applaud any effort to diminish that clown's narcissistic posts.
  19. Thanks. No one here knew this had happened
  20. Righteous indignation 14 years ago came after suggestions PSU could compete with Iowa. All it took today was losing one match in an away dual at Lehigh. Good times for Psu wrestling fans.
  21. Who called Davis the next Kyle Dake?
  22. Rozinski for Lehigh vs Tyler Kasak. Rozinski is a pretty highly touted true freshman.
  23. Seymour looked pretty big comparted to Lilledahl. Still, Luke eventually timed up Seymour's shot and got behind pretty quick for the winning TD.
