  1. Merrill gave Buchanan a really good match at the Salute. This could potentially be a fruitful play.
  2. Very solid seats. Good get. Enjoy!
  3. This is the 2nd fooching time I've put money on Arnold this season and the coaches don't weigh him in. Ill get my money back obviously, but, as I said last time, I'm gonna miss out on the potential caliente dinero. I don't like this move. Who knows, maybe Arnold is banged up. If not, too easy to construe this as a vote of no confidence. Hopefully the coaches can navigate that mental barb adequately
  4. I can't recall the last time I saw someone turn someone with double legs in at the D1 level so I strongly lean towards it being a stalling tactic. But it can serve to exhaust the bottom wrestler. Retherford used the double leg ride during his freshman campaign and, if I recall correctly, really took the starch out of stieber using that position during their first match up (obligatory long bus ride and "touch of the flu" caveats)
  5. Damn bro. You didn't have to peer into my soul like that.
  6. I wish I shared Nolf's overflowing confidence in a Spencer win (he even said a tech was possible). I'll pick Spencer because it is in my contract but I'm very nervous about this match. Ono's speed and low level attacks seem tailor made to beat Spencer.
  7. I didn't argue that Mr. Hollywood didn't have a savage mental game. I was arguing that the mindset of "I'll get an escape and I won't get taken down so I don't really need to push for a takedown" was underwhelming. It was a lame match for a 4xer and I thought it was weird to compliment Mr. Public Exposure's match tactics.
  8. Welp. That makes it undisputable! Maybe Pyles should pick a thread from these here forums every so often and chime in with a tweet. I'm sure that will engender positive and constructive discussion.
  9. Wish pins were worth 7 team points so that I could predict 69-0
  10. Inside me are 2 birds. One is reasonable, the other listens to K-Pop. The crazy one is currently winning and has enlightened me with its wisdom. Ergo, the following is assured (this is not investment advice): Sprat Dec 2-0: 3-0 OKST Ayala mdec 14-4: 4-3 HAWK Tagen dec 8-2: 6-4 OKST Parco dec 10-4: 7-6 HAWK Teemer dec 8-7: 10-6 HAWK Caliendo dec 4-2: 13-6 HAWK Hamiti mdec 12-3: 13-10 HAWK Arnold dec 4-1: 16-10 HAWK Buchanan dec 5-2: 19-10 HAWK Pindrickson pin: 19-16 HAWK IT HAS BEEN WRITTEN
  11. maybe the dual should start at 197
  12. Haha thanks for the shoutout! I'm actually predicting an OKST win at this time but need to let my thoughts marinate. Currently predicting a 5-5 split with Hendrickson's bonus being the deciding factor.
  13. Kennedy is from Minnesota so wrestling him there allowed his grandma to watch him live. As for why Nelson wrestled today? He's been injured all year, so why not throw him against the "weakest" opponent. It will all shake out in the end. My doge coin is on Kennedy
  14. Not even in the same universe
  15. Salazar presented an endless salad bar but it wasn't enough
  16. notable size difference, I think
  17. I just hope this next match doesn't come down to a single exchange
  18. Kennedy wins. Whiting made it interesting at the end. Love Minnesota's fight
  19. from 7-6 to techafall. Is that development? idk because I'm on track for a "soft" blackout (brown out?)
  20. On replay it looks less contested. Despite the score, I feel like Sparks has been in it
  21. that is the weirdest sequence I've watched this year. Caliendo gets a questionable takedown and nearfall
  22. I feel you brother. But Jacori mostly stayed in the center and Askey didn't shoot enough.
  23. Jacori why do you put me to sleep only to drop something so hot at the very end
  24. I like watching Teemer at Iowa marginally better than when he was at ASU
