  1. You think he's going to go to a different weight each year? It's already too late to win 4 titles.
  2. He's a tweener in football. He'd probably ride the bench his whole time at Iowa.
  3. You sound like a guy sitting in a deck chair on the Titanic with a towel over his face saying "I can't see any danger".
  4. Did you vote for Elon Musk? Did you vote for Trump to intentionally tank the stock market???
  5. Let him stay at 197. He looked good this year. He can pack on 10 pounds of muscle pretty easy in the next year.
  6. AJ's cheesy schtick should play well in dairy land.
  7. I think I still have a year's eligibility left from 1983. How much do you think I can get?
  8. It's ridiculous to maintain that techs are more dominant than pins. "Oh, well this guy scored 15 points more than the other guy!!!!". Yeah, and the guy who pinned his opponent was only leading 5-0 when he got the pin in the first period, so clearly that's worse. Come on. The only way in which techs are better is that a guy can't win by a fluke techfall.
  9. Grajales gas tank wasn't questionable at all, it was straight up bad! He was a talented guy and fun to watch.
  10. I'd definitely be more concerned about upsetting 260 pound Wyatt than 184 pounder Starocci.
  11. I picked Brooks, but not because of his silver at the Olympics. I picked him because I think he's the best wrestler Cael's had in college. I see your point though.
  12. Oh really? Is that what Faux "news" told you to think and say? The corporations don't pay it, YOU pay it because they raise prices to cover their costs. Tariffs can be intelligently used to protect national industries that complete against foreign industries, but tell me, have you ever known of the orange imbecile doing anything intelligently? So what industries are being "protected" by Trump's idiotic tariffs against Mexico and Canada? Perhaps a class on economics at the local Jr college could shore up your lack of knowledge on the topic. Trump himself stated the tariffs on Canada were because they were allowing unfettered immigration AND DRUGS through the US border which, like 99% of what Trump says, are lies. Trump just does what his rightwing handlers tell him to do, he's an empty hat and has always been. You've been had by a conman (and not a particularly bright one) , brainwashed by rightwing agitprop, and are probably clapping Trump's dismantling of the US economy.
  13. I didn't contradict that, I merely stated he actually did nothing in college.
  14. Wait until the real "fun" starts on April 2, the day the fruitcakes are calling "Independence Day".
  15. Wow, if that's the case then I don't blame him for being pissed. At least he won't be rusty, he wrestled in 3 open tournaments last season and didn't spend the whole RS year just vegetating in the room.
  16. We don't even know if Ono can get away from the bottom position. FS guys often struggle in folk, you know that.
  17. My 401K has dropped about $50k since Trump took over. It isn't over yet, bud. I wouldn't be shocked if the Dow was at 30,000 or less by the end of the year.
  18. I had to work for many years to save up $300k, these kids getting that kind of money straight out of HS are getting a giant step up.
  19. I think he'd have done much better than fine, but he never earned any of the achievements people claim he'd have gotten in college and I find it annoying. Much better to discuss people of whom nothing was expected but who thrived, wouldn't you agree?
  20. My observation is that the least honest and most deluded people in the world are usually religious. Those who loudly proclaim their piety are the biggest charlatans of all.
  21. Why are people so willing to give the benefit of the doubt of winning college national titles to a guy when that guy never even stepped on the mat and wrestled in college? Maybe Pico would've won 3 titles and 2 Hodges...but I doubt it greatly. I don't think he was willing to put in the work, unlike Zain. Pico took what he perceived as the easier route to making money. More power to him, but as far as I'm concerned speculation on what he'd have done is college is nothing but hot air. Reminds me of people today crowning Angelo Ferrari as a 4 time champ when he's only wrestled 7 college matches and hasn't even wrestled in a single college tournament. People earn what they get in this sport, good or bad (except injuries). Maybe Angelo will win 4 NCAA titles, but maybe he's one of those fragile guys who "breaks" over the long haul of a season, like Kharchla. Maybe he never even makes the podium. We'll see how it pans out.
  22. I didn't consider international achievements, just college achievements at PSU. If you count Sr level stuff the obvious answer is David Taylor.
  23. If ISU had given Cael the resources and a great paycheck he'd have probably stayed. I heard ISU was trying to run the program on a shoestring budget. What coach wants to fight that sort of garbage? Also I don't think it would matter where Cael coached and that the Pennsylvania "connection" is overhyped, the wrestlers wanting to improve would end up wrestling for him anyway. If ISU had spent money on the program and Cael had never left it would probably be ISU that would've won 12 of the last 14 NCAA tournaments. Maybe I'm wrong, but Cael definitely had ISU going in the right direction.
  24. You know Yianni is disappointed he missed the NIL era, although his family is loaded. I'd say Carey Kolat. Maybe Dave Schultz.
  25. A 10 year old Honda Civic is probably still more reliable than most brand new cars by other brands.
