  1. Ono is 125 pounds, right? I think that's well below the munchkin line.
  2. I don't even watch TV. I'm not a Trumpanzee brainwashing himself watching treason media day after day after day.
  3. In other words you are entitled to your own beliefs, but you are not entitled to your own facts. I agree. Facts are facts. Trump supporters really, really hate facts. I mentioned Trump deporting people illegally, which he's done, and I got a bunch of negative reactions. Cultists hate any criticism of Dear Leader, after all.
  4. Getting beaten up tends to teach humility. Pico learned it. Now Bo is learning it.
  5. I'm not an Iowa fan and I'm happy Bo lost. I've been watching his youtube channel a lot lately and Bo is insufferable. He's gotten a tremendously inflated ego. In the latest video I watched he was saying he doesn't plan on using wrestling much in the future because he thinks he's a better striker. Ugh. Yeah, Bo needs to get beaten up a few more times.
  6. He could be said to be one of the best folkstyle wrestlers in US history though.
  7. Zahid would tech Bo at this point.
  8. You got me to thinking about swimmers in wrestling. Strength/endurance of swimmers should be exceptional. Can you imagine this guy at 197 pounds? He's skinner than Hamiti!
  9. I think the refs should only allow a guy to continue riding if he's actually working for turns (or to keep really active guys down). Too much of the time they just allow guys to wallow around on top of the other guy while not working for turns. What do you mean by "TDWrestling"?
  10. Seems weird that a mouthpiece can help prevent concussions, but I believe you. How about padding the headgear on top so creampuffs like Meyer Shapiro aren't bleeding out from their scalp every other match?
  11. No. Only 75% of refs are obese fatasses, 100% of the guys in this forum are fat
  12. How dare you mock the Baconator!
  13. You guys should've seen the referee who was a teacher at my old middle school. That fat bastard was about 6'4" and was well over 4 bills and reffed a few of our duals. He was so worried about being partial to our team that he went out of the way to make all the calls go against us! Naturally he was never hired again after that season. His son was a third teamer on our squad.
  14. I can already smell an impressive reek of failure and it hasn't even started yet!
  15. The only really dumb rule change is requiring mouthpieces for wrestlers. It's not like wrestlers are getting punched in the mouth constantly like boxers or getting jacked in the mouth by offensive linemen firing off the ball. Sure, on rare occasions the mouthpiece might help (I wrestled over 300 wrestling matches, a lot against real brutes, and never sustained a dental injury on the mat), but 99% of the time all it's going to do is at least partially impede a wrestler's breathing, especially if he has a damaged septum.
  16. No sarcasm. I believed Lisa, thought she might know something the rest of us don't. Why the picture, Kirk looks nothing like Chris or something?
  17. No kdding! Does Cannon have a bunch of brothers who wrestled D1 as well? That's a name that's always kicking around in college wrestling.
  18. Not just ANY portal either. He has to step into THIS portal:
  19. That's the first time I've seen that assertion!
  20. He'd be a bad fit at Iowa, I think.
  21. Nagao has got to transfer or he'll spend the rest of his career riding the pine. I can think of a bunch of schools that can use a good 133 pounder.
  22. Wow. Thanks for clarifying that.
  23. You have to reckon the family is planning on their kid getting a scholarship to pay for it all someday. The sport I've seen the most about, regarding parents traveling so their kids can train, is probably gymnastics. I've heard of parents driving hundreds of miles a few times a week so their kids can be coached up by famous coaches.
  24. I think BJJ is much lower impact. Maybe they take it easy on me because I'm the oldest guy in the room. I know even the mild calisthenics at the beginning of practice nearly wipes me out, I'm in such bad shape! The folks are super nice as befits practitioners of "the gentle art". My first BJJ practice I had to borrow an ill-fitting gi and everybody thought it was weird I was wearing wrestling shoes. I had to get permission to wear them because everybody else was barefoot. After the calisthenics the instructor started demonstrating a triangle choke (headlock to wrestlers) and choked out his partner! I couldn't believe it! I never saw a guy get choked out in wrestling practice (although I did choke out a guy with a perfectly legal headlock in HS on two different occasions). Also in BJJ you don't have to worry about back points! Like prostitutes, Jujitsuka do their best work on their backs. Oh yeah, the best part is I'm better at taking people down than anybody in the room, even as a 60 year old! Seriously, didn't you just take to BJJ like a duck to water? I already know 90% of what they are teaching, just by different names.
