    A riding time point went on the board in 325 of the 640 matches at the Division I NCAA Championships in March. Only 23 of those bouts were determined by or sent into overtime by a riding time point. Of those 23, none of the wrestlers who registered riding time points also scored near-fall points.

    true , i remembered that, but didn't realize it was 89...lewis was at iowa earlier... but would he have been in the same room with smith? not sure when gable coached world teams... if smith was on them... possibly.

    i agree with the scoring aspect... yes he is superior... but do you think the guy that has been countered successfully 3 times.. is really going to go for it 4,5,6,7 times? i hope it doesn't slow down the action... but...

    gable was old by the time smith was in college but it maybe could have happened

    i agree, the shot clock has caused even more stalling in the what i have been told is the non stalling wrestling style. the guy not on the clock runs, with no penalty and the other guys knows it so he just follows him around for 30 sec in most cases

    no it was sumo cm spent most of the match in a 3 point stance or on his knees...and JB obliged by acting like a battering ram

    funny, i am watching espn+ baseball super regionals and the feed just went out and a screen chyron cameacross...fix as quickly as we can about a min later good again.

    to whit i have never had the flo problems until yesterday.. first time i really had to miss part of a match i wanted to watch... it was frustrating...but i saw more than if I hadn't had flo.
