saw these and began to wonder...
I'm not sure i agree with them.. but it made me think
I have been in organizations enough to know that change usually isn't driven by numbers... but by cronies who have ear oif someone in power and say... 'i hear....' and then the change is made
as to 1? we will see if baseball pitch clock has an effect
2. almost certain this is true.
3. wouldn't really work b/c the match would have been wrestled differently..potentially b/c of scoring etc...
but the point remains... this should be tested somehow. not waste an entire season.
4. the top subjectivity of are you trying to turn is the only real problem i see here
a 3 TD instead of 2 wont be hard... we adjusted to the 4pt NF pretty quick.
question:
will the 3 point takedown make wrestlers more cautious?
if i screw this shot up... or he has great defense/scramble ability/defensive counters... i dont want go down 3-0
I know many kids like this... many of them in counseling already...
they dont see anything as an opportunity to grow...
it will just be another punishment
they dont see themselves or their actions as the problem.. its those damn administrators who noticed my bad actions
i have worried about this for years... my son had a kid threaten him with a gang sign and such after a match in college... i was down in the mat area the rest of the tourney just in case, and made sure i went to the locker area when my son was done and made sure he went with teammates so he didn't get attacked in the shower
hmmm, we had a navy ride, where you had a turk and the guy rolls away... so you pick up the other leg and elbow him in the ribs to keep his back exposed...
i mean every move is based on leverage of some kind...
is the risk of concussion a little different.. i think yes in light of our knowledge of head injuries
we used to have guys gumby out of a spiral.. let their shoulder slip so they could get a potential dangerous call...
obviously a spiral is going against a joint... whether the shoulder comes up or not...
trev alberts dropped the single most successful program in the history of the state, THE NIGHT, they won another championship, during the celebration, all in the name of money. delivered the news by phone. and is in general a douche.
i agree, the big was not what it was..
but i must say... this shows the influence gable had... his wrestlers populated the big coaching spots and now....
just wow.
will sanderson have the same influence?
