  1. They cover matches that otherwise wouldn't get quality, nationwide coverage. They even put a fair amount of it out for free on YouTube, including some free livestreams like the recent Bishop McCort-Wyoming Sem dual. They have a crazy number of rankings, updated regularly, at all levels of wrestling. Articles, recaps, interviews, and so on. Brackets with live updates. Athlete profile pages with biographies, match videos, and results. A fun and accessible wrestling podcast with nice production quality. Tons of free video content, with a ton of variety. Watch Bader's Chance documentary, or watch Tyler's video with Bo and Jax on the first day of open recruiting. High quality work that gives insights and access you wouldn't get otherwise. And they're literally putting on events. They matched up Ono and Spencer Lee. Is there more of a dream matchup even possible of any current guys at any weight? Insane to say they don't do anything for wrestling.
  2. he's had a rough week, but has had a great year otherwise. he'll be fine imo
  3. If Kerk or Hendrickson win out, they would be locks for the Hodge
  4. Unless it's changed and I missed it, KOT was only supposed to miss the remainder of January so he'd get Hamiti at the dual on 2/2 as well
  5. Mesenbrink doesn't have the level of competition the others have. Steveson, Carter, KOT, Mendez would have the best wins imo
  6. OSU is holding a women's exhibition match during intermission on Sunday during the WVU dual
  7. Have there been similar exhibitions as part of collegiate duals in the past? Any involving coaches? Kinda wild, I love it though. Maybe they can add a couple more matches from their RTCs. Between this and Flo's event a month later, the state of Iowa is getting spoiled
  8. I could see them hiring his dad
  9. Can you cite your source?
  10. You're the guy who just wrote a whole breakdown about where Bo Bassett is going to school next year with the incorrect assumption that he is a senior. Maybe you can forgive Flo for a couple typos?
  11. That's the nature of all tournaments, including the individual tournaments. There is variation and luck with styles and matchups and seeding. There's no perfect system.
  12. You want to give examples?
  13. March 27. Not May. March is before May. Check the date
  14. Hamiti said in an interview he was already coming. Wyatt also was already coming, but had to get everything worked out first. If you don't believe that, fine, he had already taken a visit to OSU (his first), so obviously your line "They got several elite transfers they'd have never gotten otherwise." is bs
  15. The transfers all (with maybe the exception of Amine) committed to OSU well before Taylor was hired. You're just talking out of your ___
  16. 3 of those were during CKLV, maybe he was conserving energy for the tourney rounds. In his 3 matches since, he has 1 MD and two decisions over two guys who haven't given up bonus points to any opponent all year and they've collectively faced Peyton Hall (2x), Terrell Barraclough, Will Miller, Julian Ramirez, Max Brignola, Cameron Sneed and Brock Mantanona. That would be a crazy thing to do to a 3x AA who transfered into your program for his final year of eligibility, and is winning
  17. That was the most competitive dual a team has given OSU thus far imo. The Robinson win was huge, and then your guys kept Hamiti, Plott, and Hendrickson away from bonus points. That's honestly impressive
  18. good calls. I didn't expect Hamiti Singleton to be so close.
  19. I'm picking Fish as well. I think Witcraft and Hughes are both still out at 33. I think OSU has started at 125 for all the home duals so far and I don't expect a change here. Having Spratley-Robinson and Hendrickson-Trumble as bookends is pretty sweet.
  20. Predictions anyone?
  21. Wait two weeks until they put it up on YouTube
  22. Zahid Valencia v. Aaron Brooks as well! More matches to be announced Ono and Spencer will be at a catch weight between 57 and 61kg. Zahid and Brooks will be at 92.
  23. I've seen that gesture done a number of times in MMA and it's always been well received. The winner is basically saying that it was a hard-fought match and the loser has nothing to hang their head about. Whether you like it or hate it, it was clearly done with good intentions and that's worth noting, especially for AJ
  24. It seems most believe Coby Merrill won't follow his older brother Cody, but if he did, they could potentially match up against the Mirasolas. I guess they still could in a tournament, just not as teammates.
  25. They have only one ranked wrestler, #25 197lb freshman Remy Cotton
