  1. 165 is one of the weakest weights. Not MM's fault, but it should go to someone in a tougher weight
  2. Is American getting a big check for this? In football when good teams want to schedule cupcakes, they have to pay them hundreds of thousands of dollars
  3. That's how language works. English isn't consistent and logical all the time. Olympics actually doesn't fit with the others. Native English speakers wouldn't say "I won Olympics". They would say "I won THE Olympics." State vs. states is clearly a regional difference and that's fine.
  4. Exactly. He wants the Hodge real bad this year and he still couldn't score on Angelo
  5. Clearly he meant to compare their wins over Trey Munoz
  6. I don't think this means anything. Ferrari will be the guy if I was betting.
  7. My 3 would be Ferrari over Plott, Cruz over Spratley, and Surber over Buchanan. I like your answer better though
  8. I'm not sure which is the bolder prediction, that Arnold beats Plott or that Arnold wrestles over Ferrari
  9. What are the top 3 most likely upsets if everyone is healthy?
  10. I think you all are failing to realise how hard it is to major Plott. Plott is in his fifth full season thanks to covid. Only one man has ever been able to get a major decision against him.
  11. Yes, I agree. I wasn't talking about Plott. I'm saying if Ferrari majors Plott, he should be in the conversation of title contender.
  12. Woah impressive statistical analysis. You're too thick to realize you're not proving anything about Ferrari, which is the topic of the argument. You're only showing that Keckeisen is a level above Plott, which no one is arguing. No one is saying Plott is a title contender this year. You already said that Plott is a level above everyone except for Carter and Keck. Your quote was that Plott is "tier 2 by himself" So if Ferrari shows himself to be a level above Plott... that puts him up with the title contenders.
  13. You typed their win-loss record and were able to add up their point totals. Terry Tao would be impressed!
  14. All your"statistics" (lol) proved was that Keckeisen clearly has Plott's number. Plott has cleared the rest of the field pretty convincingly. Only two guys can ultimately contend for the title. Majoring Plott and keeping Starocci from scoring on you puts you in the conversation
  15. There can be more than two guys who are considered title contenders... So far Ferrari has shown he can keep Starocci from getting a takedown. If he then shows he has the offense to beat Plott convincingly, then of course he should be considered a title contender
  16. This argument makes no sense. Keckeisen is a title contender. It's absurd to say otherwise. So if Ferrari beats Plott in a fashion similar to Keckeisen, then he can reasonably be considered a title contender. No one besides Keckeisen has beat Plott since 2023
  17. I see it differently. I think Arnold will be sat because his coaches think Ferrari is better
  18. Takedown or no?
  19. Elon didn't buy Twitter for the business aspect of it
  20. quit, stop, cease, discontinue, resign, withdraw, desist. Let me know which word is least offensive to you
  21. I think you're looking for a reason to be offended. I put it in broad terms to cover any reason a competitor might withdraw during a match.
  22. well if you're penalizing Miller for missing the Purdue dual, you'll also need to penalize Teemer and Kasak for the duals they missed. And now you're back where you started And ignoring matches where one guy quits in the middle for whatever reason is a bad path to go down imo
  23. I didn't mention a they. I'm speaking to you, who wants to penalize someone for missing an event. If you care about being fair and consistent, then you have to apply that to everyone. Maybe I was being generous in assuming you want to be consistent and not just make arguments ad hoc that favor your guy.
