5.5 vs 7.5 points. Tagen had a much tougher match up facing the 4 seed in the blood round while Swiderski faced the 14 seed. If you think Swiderski is better than Tagen, go for it, but saying they're in different tiers is dumb tbh
I don't see any reason to think that. In their most recent tournaments, Swiderski scored 7.5 team points. Tagen scored 5.5 team points Swiderski faced the 14 seed in the blood round. Tagen faced the 4 seed.
I agree. I was looking forward to seeing him at 149 before Swiderski came along. Still kind of hope he competes for that spot even if it's not the best for the overall lineup
Dee has said he wants to be at 165 and he doesn't want to redshirt. He wrestled up this year to get tougher competition but I don't think he's truly a 174. Could be down the line, but probably not next year.

Honestly a lot of tossups at this point. It will be more clear once we see some of these guys at these weights, but for now I wouldn't say there's a favorite for the dual. There's still plenty of time left in the portal as well.
18 months is a long time for teenagers to develop and Vega has improved a lot since then. Still, I think Bassett has a clear weight/strength advantage and he'd be my pick currently.
