I’m confident that Iowa will properly discipline them for any wrongdoing that occurs on their watch. The question will be if (when?) one of them gets kicked off the team or something of that nature, will they all leave?

Orndorff had pretty significantly better results than Doucet. He had 11 wins at the NCAA tournament in his career.

If Orndorff "didn't do shit," then Doucet definitely didn't. I'd guess Caroll is definitely an upgrade considering Doucet scored 0 points at NCAA's. But with the logjam at the top of 285, his upside might be limited.

I don't know too much about Carroll but I'd bet he qualifies for sure. Weren't he and Feldman pretty close? And Feldman had beaten some NQ-level guys as a high schooler. I could certainly see Carroll beating guys like Gordon, Heindselman and Wolfgram. Not sure what to think about Bastida at 285. I'm not sure why but wrestlestat has SDSU RSFR Luke Rasmussen at #33 despite a pretty uninspiring redshirt year. It may make sense to redshirt and let 285 clear out a bit though. I don't think either are placing top 6, but wouldn't be shocked if either finished 7th or 8th.

I really hope we get some entertainment out of this, but it’s certainly plausible Anthony gets kicked off the team and AJ never joins, and hopefully the worst thing Angelo does is pretend to shoot the OSU bench like Ashnault did

The year he finished 4th all 3 guys that finished above him are no longer there. He’s taken some losses but looks to have been injured last year (2 of his losses were inj defaults), but he majored Ramos last year, also has wins over McKee & Barnett among others. There is a ton of parity at 125, he is absolutely a title contender, and as I said previously I think both Ayala and Howard can be considered one too.

He’s not so much better, but it’s not really crazy to call Howard a title contender if he’s healthy. But there are probably 10+ guys that can be considered title contenders

Yeah, it is a good idea to focus American kids on Greco if you want them to have a better chance of domestic success since the participation is so low
