I am a big hater of gum chewing and didnt finish the interview either for this reason. I bet there are 10's of us in this same boat. (I know its my problem, but it is objectively disrespectful to chew loudly). I have made note before that Willie does similar with his chewing tobacco, I have seen folks comment about that as well. I dont go on camera, so I cannot say throw too much shade, and I love DT and Willie , but it helps the product to not be obnoxiously making noises from your mouth.

I’m not a fan of this but Ersland is not known for sitting guys, I like the intent of pitch counting your best guys to peak at NCAAs. Matt Ramos, walked through this tbh. His biggest challenge in my eyes was going to be Robinson but that didn’t pan out. I was also worried about Caleb Smith on the bracket since they’ve split matches before, but we didn’t see him.

SDSU is a 4 hour drive from Minnesota, the crowd did not seem like a home crowd from the highlights I saw.

Desanto finished the day 2-1 and got a bronze, thankfully this tournament guaranteed two matches per athlete. Typical format he would have been 0-1. Bounced back to win 2 consecutive, the competition didn't appear to be too fierce in all honesty. He is back in action next week in Finland! LOSS William Ekeroth (SWE) 6-2 - Cannot find info on him. WON Algot Gamelius (SWE) 11-3, TF - 1-1 at 2023 u20 European Championship WON Ruslan Stamat (SWE) 10-2, TF - Cannot find info on him.

For you non twitter users, Austin DeSanto wrestled Greco today! He went 1-1, as far as I know, I am still trying to catch up with the results and will update this thread! Greco allows more headbutts, so he has that going for him.

I like Ramos getting some early ranked match-ups but outside the top 10. that kid with confidence and no inhibition is unbeatable imo.
