    Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he outscores Carter at Nationals. Jordan is a good kid, but he had things that he needed to clean up off the mat if he wanted to reach his goals. DT made it clear when he was hired that he wanted to change the culture around the team and Jordan knew this. Hopefully things work out for both sides.

    What I found odd about what Pyles said is that DT reached out to Oklahoma State about the job. Why would you throw your hat in the ring if you weren't sold on the job?

    With a coaching change I believe athletes have 30 days after their coach leaves in which they can enter the portal.

    I like Surber and Doucet better than Haas at 197 and Surber at heavy. In my opinion Luke was the best option at 197 after the AJ debacle. Carroll is coming in next year and could start at heavy as a freshman so Surber would have to go down eventually anyway.

    Yeah that's also an option. They'll have to be creative with who wrestles the next few years. Kind of a logjam with Plott, Thompson, Haas, Heeg, Robb and Surber

    165 Messenbrink 174 Thompson/Wittlake 184 Wittlake/Heeg 197 Surber/Heeg If the pokes somehow land Messenbrink this is the lineup I'd like to see for the upper weights.

    That would make sense. Travis would do better at 174 I think

    I could see Thompson pushing Wittlake out of 184 next year. If that's the case he will have to go back to 165 or sit out his last year.
