    There are not other wrestlers putting up the kinds of points that Spencer does and therefore there is no one for "Iowa fans" to really compare him to. Iowa fans, or any fans of wrestling for that matter, would swoon over any wrestler that puts up points the way he does, even if the tank is emptying in the process.

    Except no one else routinely puts up 10-15 points in the first 3 minutes of a match other than Spencer.

    Kokesh usually pushed the action against Evans and Brown. The matches with Storley were admittedly were measured. They wrestled against each other from the time they were like 5 years old.

    I agree with you but am surprised there was not one brave soul to pick Jacob.

    Brands is not the type to overhype his guys. I think he sincerely means what he was saying.

    I am surprised there is not 1 person that picked Jacob Warner to win. I know he has not looked great this year but it was an OT match in NCAA Finals last year.

    I actually had the match score 18-18 with a 5-5 split and Iowa winning on criteria (Spencer pin). And my match score assumed Bear Claw at 157 for PSU and Kolby Franklin at 197 for Iowa.

    Is Quincy Monday expected to stay at 165 the remainder of the season? He wrestled 157 until Midlands and has been at 165 ever since. He has a nice win over Hamiti and will factor into the AA conversation at 165. I think he would be considered in Tier 2 at 165 below O'Toole, Carr and Griffith and would be the favorite at 157.

    They probably use the coaches rankings which requires a minimum of 8 matches at the time of the ranking.
