  1. @jajensen09 the man is back!! In post season form nonetheless.
  2. Feldman beat Slav and Luffman and Ben beat Feldman. Ben has the best win out of those three (Luffman, Slav, Ben).
  3. What is the seeding criteria? Why would Slav be seeded over Ben? Worst loss for Ben = Luffman. Worst loss for Slav = Bullock. Best win for Ben = Feldman. Best win for Slav = Luffman.
  4. Speaking of guys that need to come back, I have been missing @jajensen09 this year. That guy is a true hero.
  5. #19 Jared Hill - 157 Wyoming. Has multiple career wins over a tough #22 Vinny Zerban and wins over #8 Askey, #20 Swisher, #23 McGee, #25 Washleski. Has solid defense and rarely gets blown out. #20 Matty Singleton - 174 NC State. Athletic guy that has made a world team. Has wins over #21 Wolak, #11 Ruiz, #27 Conley, #24 Turley, and #28 Uliano.
  6. So did Carter get hurt late in the season or did Teague just get cleared to wrestle?
  7. Intermat rankings 125- #22 McGowan 133- #7 Bailey 141- #6 Hardy 149- #9 Lamer 157- #7 Blaze 165- #5 Ramirez 174- #4 Kharchala 184- #4 McEnally 197- #7 Little 285- #3 Hendrickson
  8. When SDSU was starting to improve Iowa came to Brookings, SD and (at that time at least) it was the largest crowd in program history. Over 4000 people there.
  9. Tom has been at Iowa for like 20 years. You don't just luck into 20 years of success. He is obviously a great coach.
  10. Not to mention the fact that Iowa always wrestled out of conference teams like Oregon State at Corvallis and Bellarmine at Louisville. Last year they went to Riverside and wrestled Cal Baptist and went to Philly and wrestled Penn. 2 years ago they went to West Point and wrestled Army and went to Chattanooga. Iowa does as good of a job as anyone at growing the sport.
  11. Assad
  12. Sinclair is very good. I think he will be in the mix. And yes I know Plott handled him this year.
  13. Is Rocco planning to move up to 184? 184 will be fun to watch for years to come with the young talent. Angelo Ferrari, Max McEnally, Aedon Sinclair, Bennet Berge, Zach Ryder and others that I am probably forgetting.
  14. Banana split is done out of a cross body leg ride. Spladle is done out of a merkle (some call wrong leg in. There are some similarities but different moves.
  15. Ayala will wrestled off of one knee and move from the one knee position into his opponent which cause the opponent to put his hands on Drake in a collar tie or inside tie at which point Ayala will get to his slide by. This is one example of using the position to generate offense that I can think of.
  16. People wrestle Starocci slow and cautious because his positioning and hand fighting is insane
  17. Jake Andrews is now 21-2 on the season.
  18. Huh? Hendrickson is an age level world champ. Kerk is a returning undefeated NCAA champion. Shultz is a former finalist, Feldman and Slav are returning AA's.
  19. The margins in your wonderful except for that Hendrickson runs into pinfall.... So close...
  20. Ono is a very likable young man.
  21. As much as it pains me to say, Carter has earned the Starocci (from Sta(l)rocci) upgrade.
  22. There is a difference between '23 and '25 Starocci. In '23 he had a 5-1 win over Julian Broderson, a 2-1 win over Brands, a 4-0 win over DJ Washington, a 5-2 win over Bailee O'Reilly. This year he has all bonus point victories except the Ferarri match. He has been much more offensive this year.
  23. Because Ruth is more accomplished, bigger and more talented than Braunagel.
