    Correct me if I am wrong but did he not have an AA and the most qualifiers for EMU. Can’t recall all of news reporting, and it was driven by AD wrongly applying cost to wrestling that should have went to football and basketball.. I will look for UsA and NBC articles.

    His NCAA champ Henson is only a sophomore, I can’t see him leaving on him.

    Borrelli retiring we should all know did not come out of the blue, so they should have a replacement plan. Seeing the comments are Buffalo is going to drop their program. If CMU does it same year that’s less heat on them. i hope I am wrong on this but two D1 schools with open positions for so long is concerning, seeing they hire football coaches in a week along with woman’s and men’s basketball and softball coaches in less time.

    14/15 ex wrestlers now come out. Why did they wait so long if true? I am sure those 14/15 wrestlers could have went to AD a while ago and get a meeting. Does not make sense.

    Did West from NIU who was a qualifier at 125 hit the portal Northern Illinois gets two good youngsters with plenty of eligibility. MarkelBaker from George mason at 125 and Spencer Mooberry from North Dakota State at 197.

    Wow what a time for them to come out with this, unfortunately wrestling is dead. Didn’t EMU do the same a month before they dropped wrestling and all funds went into football when they dropped wrestling.

    They may be following Buffalo to see if that program gets dropped.

    Would they drop to D2, AD and CoAd have no ties to wrestling or building sports program's. He raised a lot of money for Memphis for basketball but that’s when CAL was there and then was let go.

    If they do that it should lead to the wrath of all wrestling community and supporters. Why set a coach and wrestlers like that.

    Feels like the bomb will be coming out of the blue, AD has no idea of concerns. Will they follow EMU as next MAC program to drop wrestling.

    Damn this will really hurt recruiting of wrestlers and staff. as the coaching hire drags on it will get worse.

    I agree 100%, he probably held a wrestler or two accountable. Impressive non hit the portal.

    Did CMU have any guys hit the portal? If not they must know off the hire and are comfortable.

    Wow, ladies and gentleman it is ok to attack schools/establishments. But let’s keep personalize attacks against individual athletes out of it. I am sure they are not asking to be ran through the cleaners.

    The first thing wrestling needs to do is figure out how to stop these coaches from holding wrestlers out against other ranked wrestlers. It’s hard to build a story line that casual viewers do not understand.
