I'm thinking Yeezy is next nomination. Don't know which post. It's basically impossible to predict. Oh wait - I just changed my mind. Trump can't be elected for President again. So expect every single nominations to be white. Trump no longer has to pretend he isn't racist. -
If they start running out of money, the insurance companies raise their rates to compensate. They are kind of like the cockroaches of business... they almost always survive.

I'm officially refuting. Point #1: Fart in the wind This drippy guy says that the topic at hand doesn't amount to a 'fart in the wind' compared to the 13.8 billion years we've been on this planet. EXCEPT, the earth has only existed for less the 5 billion years. He's wrong - the earth is <5b years old, but he claims it is 13.8b. Point #2: Bank investments "why are the banks financing anything in those regions…. If they will be gone in xyz # of years? " Banks will finance people in risky regions, as long as the people have adequate insurance to pay for whatever bad things that come their way. No matter how bad things get - the insurance company will pay the banks. The banks have nothing to lose. If banks didn't always profit, they wouldn't exist. Banks finance there because they will profit from it.

We haven't been "on this planet" for 13.8 billion years. The earth is less than 5 billion years old. I may have either misread you, or misread your intentions - either way, it was my mistake.

Did catch the whole in the posts - it's you. The azz whole

"why are the banks financing anything in those regions" Same reason anyone takes risk - insurance.

No. It doesn't help at all. Good for you for joining the 'professional' level - in a group of maybe 60 million'ish people. Hope you have done well. Your are comparing your career to Gable's? C'mon man. You are delirious.

First of all, after watching the video - how could you possibly even consider trusting this this guy? He looks, sounds, and acts like a guy who just got out of prison after a 10 year stretch. This guy is a moron. What is wrong with you? What would make you think it is a good idea to post a crap video like this here? Has this forum become a garbage can for you?

My question was "did this actually happen..." (quoted below with full text.) I've had enough experience with suckers who buy into garbage they read on the internet and get excited over nothing. You posted some junk links and absolutely no reply to what I asked. Your silence says it all. (Note the dollar amount on the random accusations... plus or minus $17 billion !?! or 10x more) If you ever needed a reason to distrust a web site, it's when they have a margin of error in the 100's of billions of dollars. And you followed up with this:

... I didn't see the part about cutting costs in the "space" budget. I expect we'll see a seriously significant cut in our space budget if the point is to cut spending. Cutting the space budget isn't just obvious, it's beyond obvious. Right? Private companies are leading the way, so why pump money into these private companies? If they make a profit without subsidies, great. If not, it isn't the taxpayers' problem. They are on their own. NASA will continue to exist. Sink or swim, the private companies should no longer be sponsored by taxpayers.

NATO is the defensive barrier that keeps it all from potentially falling apart. This is the group that protects all of us. Every single one of us. I had no idea you were a DEFUND THE GROUP THAT PROTECTS US type of guy. You are starting to sound just like the idiots who want to defund the police. Same stupid logic, same stupid conclusion. Use your brain - NATO, just like Law Enforcement, protects US citizens. (Stop acting like an extreme lefty in a march.) As far as finances go - just like the police, we negotiate it and figure it out. But any notion of defunding is beyond stupid.

At 141, VVB had a little bit tougher time than expected. Fun match to watch. The score may not have showed it, but Bucknell wasn't backing down in any of their matches. Tough team.

Well, that's not at all what you said. But that works just fine for me. If you prefer to be insincere, then I prefer to no longer engage in conversation. Conversation without honesty is just wasted time.

You need to work on your attention span. See later in my post where I completed my point - I'll repost it for those with short attention spans: The problem here isn't about the concept of fixing government waste. The problem then wasn't about the concept of fixing misinformation. The problem here is about the people who are being assembled to somehow "fix" government waste. The problem then was about the people who were being assembled to somehow "fix" misinformation. Is it clear now what I was saying about the "parallels here"? There are actually more, but this is the most basic of them. By the way, in case you forgot, you were the one who called me a bird brain earlier in this thread. I post it to remind you.

It is a thread about the climate, but not a single thing I posted could be considered "clearly partisan bs" on this thread. Not a single thing. Just sincere discussion about the climate, Your take is simply wrong. If we want to talk about credibility, just take the L here.

Protocols existed from the beginning, and they were used in multiple networking levels (look up OSI model.) Without them, networking wouldn't 'go'. At the beginning, it was basically communications (email) and research sharing (file transfer) between the military and higher education research facilities. DNS/POP/SMTP/FTP/etc. those protocols worked just fine. Our thread here has been focused on the "browsing" - which didn't happen until the Gopher (gopher) and Web (http) protocols were invented. Like all things communicating, they had to have a pair at a minimum. They required a server and a client in order to communicate. The server side portion would need to be configured on an internet node somewhere so it could 'listen' for requests. Then the client side portion could be installed for anybody who wanted to 'send' requests to the server(s). And... bingo... we were browsing. I'm surprised you've hung in there on this topic this long. But the history truly is fascinating.

Matt Gaetz Tapped For Attorney General
RockLobster replied to PortaJohn's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
C'mon now. Be reasonable. Gaetz just got away with sex trafficking a 17 year old girl - which we've all known about for at least a year - including the sharing of videos with other Republicans in Congress (actually shared in the Capitol Building.) If that doesn't put him on the fast track to further success in the GOP, I don't know what does. He's getting a ton of press, he's moving up with a new appointment, Trump says he's a genius. It's clearly time for the Republicans to circle the wagons and look the other way. I mean - it's not like she was just a vulnerable high school girl. Or that she needs people to go out of their way to help her. Except, that she was - and she does. -
I'm sorry that you're so soft and fragile that using the word 'jackass' would hurt you so deeply. You must be a kind, kind soul. Bless your heart. ... we last left the topic at dying billionaires and the dying planet. Please continue.

Right back at you.

Not true at all. WKN's post was original and quite good. You attempt to dismiss a post that is a high quality contribution without any factual basis. Next time, re-read the thread (as I just did) before posting uninformed accusations. (Unless you're only purpose here is to stir the pot and try to divide us.)
