    You don't need an acl, many do without, prob will have arthritis sooner. But an acl does not heal, once is torn etc its done but some can strengthen other muscles to compensate.

    Well there the reason the #1 is ranked #1, that'd be a data point. But maybe we are looking at it wrong and Harvard or Stanford is the top wrestling program and we are just using the wrong data point.

    Starting salary isn't everything, its what you do with you previous degree, previous job etc. once you get the foot in the door.

    Yes which? Do you actually think a Cornell Civil Eng degree is worth more than from the #1 program in the nation? Of course how many wrestlers have the time to go thru a rigorous engineering program?

    Depends on the major. Do you think a degree in Leisure Studies from Cornell is worth more than from Iowa? What about Civil Engineering from Cornell or Yale versus Univ. of Illinois?

    Whether the one mentioned above is a "one year" or "five year" deal probably depends on the details actually offered. I don't know if it was a we are guaranteeing five year regardless or if offered $100k/yr and will be renewed each of next 4 years if needed conditional upon x, y, & z. Regardless still a big number.
