  1. Except I don't just blithely believe whatever Trump and his ilk say and take it as truth.
  2. Honestly I don't think he cares what happens when he does pass away.
  3. He's a clown who lives on credit. Everything he owns is mortgaged to the hilt. Once he dies his kids aren't going to have anything left. The banks are going to step in and take whatever they can.
  4. Tell us you're stupid without telling us you're stupid.
  5. Herm Edwards ruined the program. Hell the state of things caused the AD to be fired, or rather he was allowed to resign because of how badly that experiment went. Since he used to be Edward's agent and all. It wasn't like ASU was some powerhouse that had a few bad years. They just had poor leadership and hadn't won 10+ games for about a decade. It wasn't like the talent was never at ASU. They put plenty of players in the NFL. Even one of their head coaches they fired in 2006 ended up becoming a head coach in the NFL. They just badly underachieved for years, hired the wrong people, and just assumed everything would be OK and things would eventually get back to the way it was when Frank Kush roamed the sidelines.
  6. Looking beyond that, the football program was all around terrible. The year before they got blown out by Eastern Michigan and beat a losing FCS program by 7. Then they had sanctions against them, lost most of their assistant coaches, and lost most of their top players. The guy who won the Heisman last season started at ASU for 3 years. Not to mention that a ton of other talent left, including a first round WR pick. The change of schedule helped, but keep in mind ASU was picked dead last and the over/under betting odds on their win total was 4.5 for this year. Fortunately I bet the over but enough sports books had those same odds for a reason, which isn't losing money. Dillingham basically resurrected a corpse of a football program.
  7. ASU lost their biggest and possibly only financial backer of wrestling. The writing is on the wall. No more Sunkist money flowing in, scant NIL deals that go through the ASU "collective", which given that the football coach has basically performed a miracle by tripling the win total from each of the last two seasons and has them in the discussion for being in the playoffs, he is going to get whatever of it he asks for. Certain people saw that there should have been a change a few years ago and it was strongly hinted this would happen, but nobody did anything to try to avoid it. If Figueroa stays next year I'll be shocked. ASU is sadly going to regress a lot unless they somehow get Bassett to commit and sign.
  8. Combination of both. One of my friends has been pitching me for years to move to Europe. It's closer to her family and the only relatives that I have here that talk to me regularly have the means to frequently travel to Europe. Different lifestyle there, less stress, and just a better quality of life. All without a bat*I poop my pants, don't laugh at me* insane person who pledges to rule as a dictator.
  9. LeBron James is like 6'7.
  10. The worst they tried to get him with was that he was supposedly communist because a company he owned or held a stake in did business with the Chinese government. Oh and that he's anti gun because his wife almost got assassinated. I think you get a pass on that if you have something like that happen.
  11. I think that 2028 is going to be interesting, it'll be open on both sides, similar to how 2008 was. If the Democrats shift gears in the right direction, they'll nominate somebody who is outside of the Biden administration, not a cabinet member, VP or anyone he appointed to anything. Honestly if Fetterman didn't have health issues, I'd put him as the guy who should come forward. But absent him, I like Mark Kelly, you can't really be more accomplished than him. Navy pilot, astronaut, now US senator.
  12. Like USA Wrestling did with Simmons?
  13. Romania bought Albert Saritov a few years ago. I think he has a win against Cael Sanderson at worlds.
  14. He's the backbone of the program.
  15. My worry is that ASU loses Molinaro after this season. I'd place that at like 50/50 right now. Not because of anything I've seen or heard, but I could see another program offering him more money, and him with a family to think about getting a pay raise for doing the same job he already has. I don't think Pritts would leave, but I could be wrong there. The one coach I doubt they'd lose is Thompson.
  16. Because Biden was never implicated in doing anything wrong. It sounds like his son used his dad's name to get things and his dad probably had no idea or had told him to tread lightly. Which Hunter probably ignored and bull*I poop my pants, don't laugh at me*ted people into thinking his dad was on board or more heavily involved so people might be more inclined to give him money. Gaetz was much more involved with what he was accused of and can't have any plausible deniability.
  17. Not that I know of. They knew that this would happen and have a half assed answer to it, which is about as impotent as a Nevada boxing commissioner. What they should have done was listen and do whatever they had to in order to keep that going. Now the face of the program for the last decade is gone. They aren't bringing in top recruits anymore, and they can't compete in the NIL era without somebody backing the program in a big way. After this season I wouldn't be shocked if half the current starters transferred, and we're right back to where things were when Zeke took over.
  18. Too bad they didn't get DT. Maybe somebody can get JB when Zeke is ready to retire. That would be the only name big enough to make a big impact.
  19. None of the money goes to Alex Jones which is a very good thing.
  20. The military has done that since before WW2. It actually costs less to replace the equipment left behind than to transport it back. Also this keeps the various defense contractors happy because whichever congressional districts have big manufacturing for defense contractors basically will make sure the money keeps flowing no matter what. You'll also never eliminate all fraud and waste with the Pentagon. There are a ton of things that us mere mortals don't know about that get funding that's basically a black hole.
  21. When you hold public office you give up your right to privacy.
  22. It looked like Tyson was holding back in the early rounds and then just got tired and was kinda like "Eh screw it" and just stuck it out without doing much else. There were a few times when he moved quickly and had the angle to throw something with bad intentions and just didn't.
