  1. What in the QAnon is this drivel? Did your AI malfunction?
  2. Because lying about bull*I poop my pants, don't laugh at me* that didn't happen to grift people like you out of money isn't a big deal? Fox News had to pay nearly 800 million and admit they aren't a news channel but rather an entertainment channel.
  3. Possibly. But they alone wouldn't have killed him. You probably think the police were justified in murdering George Floyd too.
  4. Did he get drunk and point a gun at police?
  5. You're playing semantics. He caused him to die. If the paramedics couldn't save him then the harm inflicted on him must have been pretty bad.
  6. I don't think anyone is justifying it. But there are enough people who maybe are affected by things this guy did, and have nothing to lose by killing him. It's not right but it's not exactly shocking to hear. I wouldn't say it should be a warning but if you dictate corporate policies like this, some people aren't going to exactly become your biggest fans.
  7. Just because you're unarmed when you kill somebody doesn't mean that it isn't negligent homicide.
  8. The point is that someone who was acting dangerously and pointed a gun at police wasn't killed, and a guy who was unarmed and acting erratically in public was iced by a random passerby. Maybe it was race, social class, whatever, but you cannot tell me there isn't a double standard.
  9. He's gotta keep the grift going somehow.
  10. Maybe if he was a rich, white, well connected former cop who pointed a gun at police he wouldn't have gotten choked to death. https://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/news/rivals-slam-rachel-mitchells-plea-deal-with-ex-arizona-prisons-chief-18667178
  11. The remaining charge is criminally negligent homicide, which I think is appropriate for what happened. That is when you take an action that kills somebody by accident.
  12. He best Talaei in the pool but Iran protested so they wrestled again and Kolat lost 5-4.
  13. I'd take Gogi over him, only because there was more competition in the modern era with no Soviet Union, instead you had a bunch of other countries who had talented guys. Being a multiple time Olympic silver medalist must be rough though. Gogi was just for whatever reason not showing up at the Olympics. He went into overtime with Lowney and got tossed on his head. Lowney goes on to a bronze medal. After that it was just disappointment. I don't think he advanced out of the pool round in 2004 either.
  14. Yeah but why upset them when they think Russia are the good guys, Mexico is invading us, and that electing an 80 year old felon with tertiary syphilis is a good idea.
  15. The guy who used to own a well known horse racing track operation was a big time GOP donor, especially to Joe Arpaio, whose big thing was going after illegal immigrants when he realized it would get him attention, and he employed a lot of people here illegally. Same with a guy who ran a chain of car washes. Then the car wash guy stopped donating, so his car washes got raided by the sheriff's department. Must have been a coincidence.
  16. Or they work illegally, which as I said plays into my opinion that we have an illegal employment problem more than anything. I can tell you that around here a lot of businesses will look the other way when it comes to hiring for low level jobs. A lot of immigrants, legal or not, work very hard at whatever they do. I know it's anecdotal, but a friend of mine's father immigrated here, when he was coming up the corporate ladder, he was putting in 70+ hours while getting his MBA. Then afterwards he was the kind of guy who would still put in those same hours until he was 70. His kids had to stage an intervention to keep him from essentially working himself into an early grave, because he would have if they didn't stop him.
  17. I think he beat Couture and Gleasman at the trials that year.
  18. So you just hate transgender people. Got it.
  19. Who? I'm surprised you're not up in arms or Trump isn't.
  20. He was found guilty and convicted. The end.
  21. How exactly are we incentivizing illegal immigrants? I'm curious because there's money available for refugees and asylum claimants who are definitely not illegal immigrants. So I'm curious what you're actually referring to.
  22. Well that hasn't happened so I don't know why you're speculating on things that are pretty unlikely.
  23. From that article: The appeal process could drag on for ages, and even if his legal team pulls off a miracle, it might not happen before Election Day. And yes, despite his conviction, Trump is very much still eligible to run for — and win — the presidency because the Constitution doesn't care if you're a felon. He was convicted of felony charges. The end.
