  1. So all mentions of Enola Gay were removed and now the section about the Navajo Codetalkers, some of whom are still alive, was removed. I guess Trump thinks any mention of gay is bad, and the Codetalkers only got their job because of woke DEI hiring practices and should be erased. So if you're a straight, white, make, you have nothing to fear.
  2. I wonder if the new anti DEI is going to affect the bathroom at my gym.
  3. So why did Trump pardon the 1500 or so people who tried to violently stop the transfer of power, which is the literal definition of terrorism? Why don't they get their citizenship taken away? They obviously don't respect the rules of law.
  4. I don't think you know what that means. You made a point that supporting terrorism could get your visa revoked. Point taken. However if that is your position, there are many others, especially those within the government who for years have supported terrorism or brutal dictatorships because they happened to align temporarily with US interests. So when it comes to things like this, you cannot be selective. It's either everybody should get the same, or we shouldn't do anything about it.
  5. The US government has supported some of the worst, and our current president supports the Russian Mafia essentially. Can we get rid of him?
  6. Not that it's the same thing, it's similar, but there was a person or persons, who for a while would call various fast food places and convince the managers that they were the police and get them to strip search female employees. I think they did catch one guy doing it. There was a very sad case of it happening here where the store manager acted like an idiot.
  7. So you can't go to funerals? Since when was attending a funeral grounds for being deported?
  8. This inclusion in the draft ‘Red List’ comes in the backdrop of a major immigration scam in Nepal in 2023 where many Nepalese citizens posing as ‘Bhutanese Refugees,’ went to USA. This immigration scam involved top Nepalese politicians and bureaucrats and also certain senior figures from the camps. A better explanation than Wee Willy of course.
  9. McIlravy vs Abas. It was just shocking because Abas scored a lot early and had a fairly good lead but ran out of gas and crashed and burned in the home stretch. That's why McIlravy losing to Marinetti was kind of surprising. I think other than losing to him at B10 and the NCAA finals that year, he only lost one other match during his time at Iowa. I don't think we'll be seeing any more finals matches where both wrestlers score 15+ points each.
  10. That doesn't mean people aren't entitled to due process and having their rights violated.
  11. There's this thing called due process, where you can't circumvent people's rights by just saying that they're something. Like if I called you a balding, mentally challenged man child, and used that as an excuse to keep you away from high schools, it might be incorrect because even if some of that is true, claiming that you are cruising for K9 action online might not be completely accurate. So you'd at least have a chance to explain that your thing is sock puppets. You'd probably still be told you have to be more than 200 feet away, but at least you'd have your say.
  12. That's literally just what Trump has said. Also there's probably at least a dozen or so gangs that do the same exact things, and none of them are stupid enough to actually declare war against the US. You might as well declare the same thing about the Russian Mafia present in this country.
  13. Just the usual suspects. Then of course the addition of that notorious and well known terrorist hotbed of Bhutan. And before you Google where or what Bhutan is, they have rules to basically keep tourists away and off their mountain peaks over 18,000 feet. Not because they don't want people coming there, they don't want it to become overcrowded. I know a guy who runs tours there so he's probably laughing about this. And how stupid this administration is for including Bhutan, probably because there's a dragon on their flag.
  14. But she probably said something negative about Trump. https://www.patriotledger.com/story/news/2025/03/16/rhode-island-doctor-rasha-alawieh-deported-despite-federal-court-order/82466816007/
  15. So do they both win it?
  16. We aren't at war so it's unnecessary to invoke that. The last time it was done was during WW2. It isn't about combating crime either, it's just a thinly veiled excuse to expedite deportations.
  17. Literally within hours the court strikes him down. I could imagine the comments if Biden did something like that towards the J6 terrorists. Fortunately we have some checks and balances left.
  18. Iranians aren't Arab and they'll be the first to point that out.
  19. I don't know if many white supremecists in Iran.
  20. Places where there's high congregations of neo Nazis and white supremecist types.
  21. Certain parts of the south.
  22. Ironically that's the Mexican made version, since the US version isn't made with cane sugar.
  23. I think there's some places in the US this would sell really well too unfortunately
  24. Except this guy has a green card, which is not being here as a "visitor", since if you hold a green card and are outside of the country too much it will be revoked. If you're visiting on a green card, that makes it likely that it can be taken away if you don't reside in the US.
  25. It's a pyramid scam. I remember when it was all about virtual everything, NFTs, etc. Crypto is just the one that the tech bros cling to. I know a guy who has made a small fortune pushing this stupid stuff using influencers, a bunch of get rich quick seminars, and "dude bro" parties, etc. I asked him if he had invested in cryptocurrency at all, he told me only a little bit in case it goes up and it isn't a big amount either. So that should tell you something, if a guy who makes his living off of it isn't investing, it's a scam.
