    Yes, I agree. Though beating Kerk is far less impressive considering Kerk could barely walk when the match started and ended up MFF the rest of the tournament. But beating Steveson is Hodge worth in itself.

    In reality Penn State got some bad draws in hitting the eventual champ in 60% of their weights. Davis lost to Byrd Barlett lost to Mendez SVN lost to Lovett Haines lost to Hamiti Barr lost to Buchanan Kerk lost to Hendrickson

    Buchanan is great but he wrestled at Wyoming and Oklahoma before coming to Iowa as an 8th year senior. He was already very polished before coming to Iowa City. Same with Caliendo. Will Angelo be their first homegrown champ since Spencer?
